I say this build would be decent for Arena because usually 1 person (if that) builds tanky in Arena. You have almost no penetration in your build. I would recommend replacing Polynomicon with Obsidian Shard or Spear of the Magus and having Polynomicon be in the "optional" space.
Instead of going for Hastened Ring after boots, go straight into Bancroft's Talon. It's way more power early game so you have better poke and clear along with the sustain from lifesteal. In casual matches such as Arena, Joust, Clash or ranked 1v1's you can go Bancroft's Talon very first item (instead of boots+starter) with 2 mana potions and then build your boots after.
Karils, I will say that I personally like going Hastened Ring immediately after boots (strictly speaking in terms of Arena and casual Joust). The attack speed and movement speed help me with waveclear/kill secure (my opinion/preference). I personally don't go into Bancroft's Talon that early due to Freya's passive.
Also...I'm not comfortable starting Bancroft over shoes. Yes, the power boost is nice, but she can be focused very easily unless you're staying back...at which point, you're also not getting all that much damage from Bancroft. Also, her passive lifesteal as boog mentioned.
Finally...Hastened Ring gives her MUCH more utility early than a power item like Bancroft, at least in my opinion. She'll deal more damage overall with the attack speed boost, and she can more easily focus one enemy and possibly get a kill much more easily, due to that 6 second passive.
