Nu Wa is highly underestimated by most players. I'm currently mastery level 8 with her and am going to soon be 10. She's a great God that can be built in a variety of ways. I like building her like a bruiser sometimes.
This is my first guide, so don't scream at me if it looks bad. Imma' noob!
She needs to get up and personal with her enemies to maximize her damage!

These are great for Nu Wa for the cdr. She needs to pop as many abilities as she can. Like her fog, minions, and ultimate!
Again, this is for the cdr so she can spam it all up!
This is just too good with Nu Wa. It syncs all her abilities' damage together! Kinda 'ties' it all together.
I've actually killed someone with fog+soulreaver. It can be pretty effective with Flame Strike!
It's just an average item for an average mage. It'll increase the damage on her abilities. Plenty of magic, nuff' said.
This is for the penetration. It's just good to have it!
I like this for the splash on her 3 and her 4. It's just good extra damage with the splash damage.
This is just perfect with Nu Wa and I would always have it in any build with her. It's just too powerful with her kit to pass it up.
This will make the arena cage deathmatch of doom even more deadly!

This is amaaazing with her splash damage and her ulti. It'll make it extremely hard to fight you, especially in your arena deahtmatch box of doom!
Good to engage fights, or good to exit fights. Either way Nu Wa may need this!
I like using this in her ultimate, to watch my victims attempt to run! Also so they cannot heal! >:)
1. fog This ability is actually op. It's as good as Loki's if not better for how long it lasts and the low cooldown. I'd max this out before her clay minions. It even does damage!

This ability can be useless sometimes in arena, but the protections are good and I like using it to block basic attacks! They're your little guardians! :3
3. flame strike This is her only actual attack ability, yet it's so good. The stun is really good to set up a basic attack and the damage is really nice. You can use this in your death match cage of doom to get up close and personal.
4. Pillars of heaven This sets up her kills. Fight in this arena deathmatch cage of doom and you have the upper hand. With the slows you can chase and set up all your hits much more easily all equaling up to kills and pentas!

Nu Wa highly depends on her ultimate for good damage. This means I'd personally stay out of team fights until your ultimate is up. Then when it is up, trap as many enemies as you can and unleash your power.
I picture her ulti like an arena deathmatch where either Nu Wa will walk out victorious, or she won't make it out, her enemies would instead. This will set up all her other skills to and on top of that will be a GREAT slow.
In arena, wait for the right opportunity to throw down your ultimate. This may sound strange, but I play Nu Wa like an assassin. She's exactly like that in my mind. Place down your ultimate to trap a weak god, then just skin them down to 0 health, it's beautiful.
Nu Wa can be extremely weak if you get shut down early on. A Nu Wa without kills in arena, is EXTREMELY useless, since you have no towers to push... so since you have no towers to push, play arena like an assassin and deal as much damage as possible. Don't get caught up in the center of fire without your ultimate up, otherwise you're basically in the wrong spot.
If you have a low hp ally, cover them up with your fog, it's only the nice thing to do!
Keep in mind that your fog also gives nearby allies movement speed, so it's good for engaging your team, or fleeing with your team.
If you get maximum cdr with Nu Wa, you'll constantly have up your fog which means your enemies will constantly have to guess where you are. It's better than Loki's in my opinion.
So overall, Nu Wa can be very weak without her ultimate up. Stick close to allies and branch off of them when you see an enemy with low hp, then dive in and face your victims in the arena death match cage of doom!

You don't need mystical mark on n uwa. She isn't a close-range mage or anything like that. Also this item is best when bought as early as possible and suggesting it as a 4/5th item isn't a good choice.
