Notes Why do I take Calamitous Rod of Tahuti instead of Obsidian Shard or any other % penetration item well most of the time Obsidian Shard passive is about to proc on your Whirlpool and not your Tidal Surge or Release The Kraken!. So in my opinion if you use your 3 and it catches someone Calamitous Rod of Tahuti will deal a lot more burst dmg. And also lets say you catch 2 or 3 people into your Release The Kraken! combo it is most likely instakill for them. Big + is that Calamitous Rod of Tahuti buffs your auto attacks.

Notes Book of the Dead will always be a possibility as long as Book of Thoth is meta. 1500 mana from items + base mana is a lot so the shield might save your *** in game a few times. But you can always try to build Bancroft's Claw as a third or fourth item as it does similar thing.

I would like to ask. What would you say is the perfect arena build for Poseidon? Items and ability leveling.

Yeah in my opinion this build will work in every game mode but for sure go with Blink in arena. Leveling order is the same too.

Personally I would forego a bit of power (and the need to stack) if possible. What I would potentially consider would be to maintain CDR but add some other utility. In this case, I might switch Sands of Time (Pendulum of Ages) with Conduit Gem (Gem of Focus), and get Chronos' Pendant in place of Book of Thoth. A bit more CDR early will be better for constant teamfights.

I would also keep the flexibility of the build in place. Divine Ruin should be in place only if you really need to counter healing (multiple healers). That healing/sustain is going to be less effective in some senses in Arena where enemies can just back quickly. Health sustain is more important in bigger modes like Conquest where backing means you miss out on farm etc.

Soul Gem or Spear of Desolation in DR's place could be considered in combo w/ Chronos + Myrddin to max CDR. And I would personally look to grab either Charon's Coin or Obsidian Shard as a core item rather than a situational.

i think building chronos pendant and shoes of focus are a better route for Poseidon, you can just keep spamming Kraken and by late game (if you built another item with 10+ CDR) you should be able to spam your third and rotate all over the map like crazy Idk that's just my preference though. Overall your build is solid though i would switch Doom orb for chronos pendant.

there is so much CDR atm so many times during the endgame i pick blue camp and that one gives u 20% cdr and u have more than enough + with Spear on Deso u get a lot more than u would get with Chronos pendant, i used to have chronos on almost every mage but spear is just way better item as chronos and his 10 sec passive it is completely random u get 1 sec off after 10 sec if it procs in the wrong time spear is way better + it reduces your ult way more than chronos

Mana camp provides 10% CDR.
