my unwanted 2 cents, Gulf :P similar to what Tango said, I feel heartward is completely viable(although makes it more creative to hit the mana/mp5 benchmarks for her extra omi). even though I will oftentimes try to go other cooldown items than bov due to it's lack of health, It's really been a no brainer for me vs an item like sov because it gives you half the mana you need to get all of her extra omi plus, it increases your omi regen from the cdr. Since she has a higher base physical defense than magical, it doesn't take as much to put me where i want to be there and there is flexibility to add something else other than another straight physical defense item.

Well worded. Breastplate of Valor manages to hit every single stat required for her passive while still coming in at a fairly good price. The lack of health does kind of suck, but this build hits 2840 health with Oni Hunter's Garb, and 2990 with Heartward Amulet, so health isn't a major concern in the first place.

How do you feel about Sovereignty and Heartward Amulet on her?

Both very good items. Heartward Amulet would most likely be a replacement for Oni Hunter's Garb if fit into this build. In reality it would probably be the more practical item, as Oni Hunter's Garb is primarily built for the mp5. While oni does provide 10 more, heartward provides much better stats given that both items cost the same. I might still recommend Oni Hunter's Garb if you're being heavily focused, but Heartward Amulet in every other situation.

As for Sovereignty, the health would be a major benefit, but the current defensive items such as Breastplate of Valor form the basis of the CDR for her regen, as well as mana/mp5 for passive.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
