Introduction

This Fenrir build is used mainly for the Arena mode, but I use this for conquest as well, only I add in potions and other stuff based on who i'm laning against. (Purification beads for Ares for example)For this build you need to think like an assassin. While it won't make you the team's favorite person, you will get a lot of kills and get fed. I hardly ever lose anymore in level 30 brackets (Unranked of course, lemme be the king of noobs)and almost every single Arena match I get on average 15 kills and 1 death. Most games I don't even die. You need to focus on saving your jump for escaping, or initiating a 1v1. It's very easy to jump through the walls at spawn if you are in a mess, just get it as far into the spawn area as you can and use it, and you will jump through the walls. It's also very easy to sustain at level 8 and above with this guide, which I will get into later. Oh, and this is my first guide.

Skills

For skills, start off with 2 skills in Brutalize, and 1 into unchained. I find that Seething Howl isn't useful until you are fed, or start 1v1ing, meaning you won't need it until level 10 or so. Get Seething Howl at level 4 just to get, and obviously the ultimate at 5. The priority from there, (getting ult whenever possible first) is Brutalize-->Unchained--->Seething Howl. This lets you do lots of burst damage with brutalize, and unchained away from anyone who may have seen you gank a squishy mage.

Pros / Cons

Pros of this build:
-Lots of burst damage
-Stats below based off first build
-Ensures tank's don't get off with physical protection (Qin's blades, high attack speed)
-2.25 attacks per second
-15% lifesteal without using Seething Howl
-26% Critical chance
-224 physical power
-15% penetration
-Easy to escape
-Easy to be fed when played right
-Easy to play right
-Gets first blood a lot
-Loads of kills
-Gets fed, as a hungry wolf should
-Wins 99% of 1v1's (Lifesteal plus the attack speed makes fighting people almost easy, you heal back what they can do while damaging them)
-Can go into groups, kill someone quick and leave, alive most of the time

Cons of this build:
-Prone to stuns
-Prone to ganks from Loki
-Cannot take on minions well at low levels
-Realitivly low life (2465)
-Squishy
-Not a great supporter (Except for ult)
-Gets people on your team angry with you sometimes (thus "KS build")

Creeping / Jungling

In Arena, I start jungling at level 8, getting 5 runes off creepers, then using brutalize on the attack buff main minion, and the area of effect from using brutalize will kill off the smaller minions, and simply seething howl, and the rest of the main minion will go rather quickly. Then, use unchained onto the mana buff, and gather 5 runes, and then use brutalize when it's ready, and then go back, heal up, and go gank someone. I recommend ALWAYS having the mana both, as this build focuses lifesteal, and I end up going back for mana instead of life 90% of the time. Once your past level 15, you won't even need to use abilities anymore, and simply autoattack down the buff minions, and you can grab the speed and cooldown reduction if they are up, IF you are about to gank someone. I like to leave up those two, so when I get ganked or grouped up on and escape, I can run back to those two buff camps, and lifesteal back to full life off of them. (Requires at least level 13-15)In conquest, it is possible to kill mana buff at level 1, then more on to more jungle camps using brutalize as your first skill with hands of the gods and Bumba's mask, but I don't find it that useful to fulltime jungle as Fenrir in conquest. I do take the buffs as often as possible past level 15, but if you try and fulltime jungle, theres not enough sustain low level to keep him up, and you will end up going back before you gank, losing a lot of time. If someone finds a way to keep that from happening, and it being actually viable to jungle as Fenrir, please let me know.

Team Work

The only real "Teamwork" thing this build has is the ultimate, which even I find myself being spiteful, and grabbing someone's about to be kill off to the side somewhere and kill them myself. You can of course always save someone being chased wtih a rune charged unchained, and then kill the two people stunned while your buddy runs away, but, you know, you still get the kills. You can also simply ult grab someone away from someone being chased, tends to get you good remarks.

Running away

This seems kinda cowardly, but I'd rather wast me entire bar of mana to run away, rather then die and give them exp and gold. I'm a hater that way. Even if you only have enough mana for one or two abilities, you can easily get away. The first thing you wanna do, is know where you are. If the enemy pushed to your starting area in Arena, and your low, simply jump through the wall instead of walking around. Unchained is the easiest to do this with, since its got a long range, you can use it almost anywhere and jump through the walls. However if its on cooldown, you can get through with brutalize, you just have to go right up against one of the little fire-pit things, and you should see your skill circle on the other side turn blue. If your in the center, you can use the pillars. Both unchained and brutalize can jump through them. If your in the jungle camps, an easy way to get away is have the people chase you halfway up one of the half wall things they have their, and brutalize or unchained can both let you jumped through all of them. Those half walls force them to walk allll the way around while you can run straight to your base. Obviously sprint can help here too. If you end up in Hades's ult, you can always unchained, brutalize, or even ult out. Similarly, if you end up being pulled by Ares, a nicely timed ult will make you immune to the pull, just not the damage.

Engaging in a 1v1

DO NOT DO THIS UNTIL YOUR LEVEL 15+!!!! You heard me, no 1v1's. You need to kill steal your way to being fed, then once your level 15, if someone ganks you, or you gank anyone, it won't even matter, your lifesteal will help you out tons, and you can always run away, or unchained towards them. If you do find yourself in a 1v1, and your not fed quite yet, then you need to utilize Fenrir's rune system. The rune charged seething howl gives you lots of extra lifesteal, and base damage, or you can unchained rune charge to stun them, and even if they have minions and an enemy god, you can use brutalize rune charged to area of effect kill the minions while brutalizing the enemy.

How to kill steal

When I say kill steal, I only mean being a jerk and stealing someone's clearly hard earned kill 10% of the time. When I say kill steal, I mean think like an assassin. When someone is low in a team fight, time your brutalize or unchained so you get the last hit. This will tick off people sometimes, but its Arena, so they can get over it and go start killing other people to feed you more kills. Brutalize is by far the easiest way to earn a kill because you only have to left click and it will guarenteee hit them 4 more times for loads of damage, and as long as you follow the skill thingymerbob I talked about above, you should do a boatload of damage, and whether you hit once, twice, or trice, (three times) you will 90% of the time get the killing blow. Another easy way is to let the enemy push you towards your pass to where they are just outside of the spawn area, and ult grab someone straight into the healing fountain. On the way, they will be hit twice by a griffon, and the main room will doing something like 20% of their life every second. It's almost a guaranteed kill if you get them in their, unless they are full up tank. As stated above, you can also ult grab someone at like half life or below being chased by your teammate and drag them off somewhere and brutalize them to death, or at higher levels, auto-attack. Most 1v1's at higher levels will be an easy kill, because of the insane attack speed and life steal. As people have pointed out, there are pros and cons to kill stealing. Most of the time I tend to see someone who is below half life pounce on them and leave securing a kill someone probably could have gotten, assuming it didn't go poorly. Again, this gets you more gold, which is bad if the rest of the team cannot clear minions easily such as Arachne, Baststet, etc. Be careful with how you choose to do this, as it can have negative effects on your team if not done correctly. However, if your a selfish player like I used to be the first year I played, it doesn't really matter. (I still suggest sharing the love)

Sustaining

It's easy to stay out there for long periods of time, for me I end up amassing 2000-4000 gold before I realize I should go back. Simply keep up on nabbing the blue buff for mana, and whenever your low, once you have the soul eater (second item) you can kill creep waves, or other jungle camps to heal up nicely. If you are super low however, I would use Seething Howl, and then that gives you a lot more lifesteal. If you want to go for some really insane lifesteal however, use a rune charged seething howl (twice the buff of regular seething howl) and you can get some insane numbers, I've seen some 300's and a lot of the time plain up 200's on average per hit, keeping in mind you get 2.25 attacks per second after the fatalis. This stratagy works well on melee enemies as well that cannot CC you. Your attack speed and damage will constantly be doing damage to them while they hit you and you will constantly get life back and most times I'm able to 2v1 enemy melees and win by straight up auto attack and maybe a Unchained to stun.

Items

Buy in the order they appear in the build at the top. Yes, you buy the items 1 at a time. If you feel you need potions, or you need beads or something, add it in whenever you feel like.

The first build with Qin's blades is meant for high attack speed, and dealing with bruisers/tanks because of the amount of times auto attack will hit someone with Qin's blades. This is great for taking out tanks such as Sobek or Ares because no matter how much life they have, you do a % of it per hit, and you hit alot especially since they are melee. The lifesteal keeps you up, and as long as your not getting stunned a whole lot or 3v1'd, you will do fine.

The seconds build utilizes the newer items, replacing soul eater with bloodforge, and Qin's blades with Rage. This build is meant for a slight change in lifesteal, the lack of a lifesteal aura for your team in exchange for a huge increase in crit chance and damage. This build is for facing teams with only one tank and maybe more mages then bruisers.

Conclusion

I'm sure I will get hate if this ever gets popular cause I'm teaching people how to KS as Fenrir and KS well, but hey, its Arena, make your own KS way for your own god. kk bye. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this guide, it is my first so im hoping I did a half decent job and at least someone will get a lot better at Fenrir because of this.

P.S: When your in-lobby go to the guide tab and make a custom item select for Fenrir, and then click the box use for auto-select items or whatever. All the items then go into a "Favorites" tab in the shop in-game. I find it saves a lot of time not having to click back and forth from attack speed to power, to recommended, its just all under favorites. You do NOT have to use auto-purchase items for this to happen, I buy my own.

The guide is pretty nice. I personally prefer bloodforge instead of soul eater for my lifesteal but your build seems to work pretty good as well, especially in team fights.

Whenever you want to update it, make sure to hit "publish" after saving it. It won't create a new guide, but rather update the existing one - I kind of wish they reworded it.

I'm trying to figure out how to "update" this. This is my first post and I edit it but it still says its outdated.
