-Crit almost every attack you unleash
-Apx 325 non-crit 825 with crit (Basic Attack)
-With Damage Buff apx 425 non-crit 1000 with crit (Basic Attack)
-Wind Demon's Passive is nearly constantly in effect since you Crit almost every attack you do
-In late game, can take out Towers/Phoenixes quickly with Minions and/or Guardian Support

-Full Build is very expensive, late game based
-Very Squishy, can't take much damage
-Mana Hungry at the beginning

Alternative Item Information

My original Artemis Build didn't have Wind Demon, but Transcendence. Transcendence was my second item built, follow by Jotunn's Wraith or Bloodforge depending on the current situation in-game. With the most recent 3.14 update, I decided to try Wind Demon and fell in love. However, 3 Critical Chance items might be a bit to much for some people.
I'm also thinking about replacing Wind Demon with Poison Star, it seems like another great alternative.

Ranked Play

I have yet to try this build in Ranked Play, so I can't really say much. Will update when I have information on it.

Team Work

Majority of the time I play Artemis, I play with someone I know who loves Support/Guardians. Bacchus, Ymir, Sobek, and Sylvanus are the main Guardians I usually end up with.

This is my first build on Smitefire, so feedback is appreciated (but please no rude remarks or comments)!

There's to much crit. You don't take Artemis' passive into account which allready gives 15% critical hit chance.

Furthermore you need more penetration. Without pen, the crits will barely do anything to guardians that build more than 1 (or even 1) physical defense item.

Bloodforge is very expensive, and it's probably best if you only build that if you get ahead. I'd recommend Asi as a replacement. It's 1k gold cheaper, has lifesteal, attack speed and even penetration.

You hardly have any attack speed either. Artemis may have an 80% steroid for that, but if you hardly have anything in the first place, that 80% isn't going to do much either.

And I'd suggest placing Transcendence in the main build, instead of a situational. You're going to need the mana to use the Suppress The Insolent ability for clear and poke, to place traps using Transgressor's Fate ( Artemis' only hard CC besides her ult.) to root enemies for easy pickings, and to use Vengeful Assault alot to either burst down enemies or escape.

Artemis has no real escape and therefore must rely on her movement speed and a combination of her abilities to get away from trouble. Without Transcendence you'll run out of mana very easily and put yourself at a huge risk, and a dead hunter means nothing to the team.

And if that's not enough, as a result of having no mana, you'll be unable to escape trouble, die more often, and get behind. This makes it so that there's absolutely no way you're going to finish this build, as you yourself said it is very expensive.

Consider the point's I've mentioned, and use them to improve your build, if you feel like it. Or ignore it in general, you're an adult... probably.

The whole point of the build is a lot of crit. I put alternative items for people like you who believe is too much crit. I used to use Transcendence, and still do, but it depends on the situation, hence why I put it in as well. By the time you have 4 out of the 6 items, mana is no longer an issue unless you spam your abilities non-stop, which you shouldn't with this build. Her trap and her ult can be used to help escape if needed. In an average game of conquest (around 35-40 mins for me) I'm at full build or almost full build. The whole point of having a lot of crit is to save your abilities and just use basic attacks, using abilities to escape or to secure a kill. And I also have penetration with Jotunn's Wraith, I just don't put too much of it, since I don't feel the need when you 2 shot almost everyone with crits. And yes, I'm an adult.

I tried your build and recorded it. It has my official SMITEFire Blind Pick approval. :)

I also put the link to your build in the description so others can try it out!

SilentWolf251 (1) | August 10, 2016 8:45pm
I chose Jotunn's Wraith for Cool Down Reduction mostly, although there are a few other cool down items that can be used. I'm kinda used to Jotunn's Wraith though.

Thank you, she is my main as well, just got Diamond Artemis yesterday! Attack speed is good with Artemis, I used to use Qin's Sais and Odysseus Bow, and Golden Bow before it was removed.
