Shoes of Focus - obvious reasons & the cooldown + mana is nice.
Lotus Crown - Passive works well with Chang'e.
Void Stone - power, protection, health.
Breastplate of Valor - protections, mana, MP5, CDR.
Midgardian Mail - Good against basic attack based enemies like Bellona.
Spectral Armor - protections, mana, MP5, CCR. If the enemy solo laner goes crit for some reason. Unlikely, but who knows.
Genji's Guard - Good against ability based magical solo laners, like Hera or Ra.
Pestilence - Direct counter to healers but not as effective as Divine Ruin.
Mantle of Discord - I know its both but whatever. Good overall defense, CDR, passive is nice to have.
Shield of Regrowth - You will be speedy. The HP5, MP5, and CDR are nice additions as well.
Rod of Asclepius - I really think you should be picking this up 90% of the time. The passive works great with Chang'e, and you get power, health, and movement speed. Yummy
Stone of Gaia - Health, HP5, MP5. Excellent. Good against gods with knockups, like Geb, King Arthur, or Tyr.
- Very high sustain with her passive, Jade Rabbit and her Moonflower Dance
- Large AoE abilities with low cooldowns.
- She has a built-in beads/aegis that is up every 9 seconds.
- Her abilities don't do much damage - she isn't a burst mage.
- She has no CC aside from her ultimate.
- She is extremely mana hungry, especially early game.
- Countered by anti-heal.
Chang'e can purchase and sell items from anywhere on the map using her rabbit. This gives her very high sustain especially in the solo lane with a mana buff.
She can only purchase/sell one item at a time and must wait until her rabbit returns to receive the item & send it out again.
She also gains 25% movement speed with no back-pedal penalty when using her abilities - this makes it really easy to poke enemies without taking any damage yourself.
Crescent Moon Dance
This is her main damage/clear. It is an arc ability that deals damage to all enemies hit.
There isn't much to say about this ability, its good damage for poking enemies and clearing the wave.
This is her main escape. She performs an evasive dance, becoming immune to all damage, stuns, pulls, slows, etc., etc. She cannot use this if she is already stunned, silenced, or knocked up.
For every tick of damage avoided, she and her allies gain mana - up to 60 per tick.
While this ability does give her mana back, I really wouldn't recommend running into enemy abilities just to get mana because you are only immune for one second & have no other escape.
It's really important to get the timing of this ability right so you can avoid major damage through Da Ji or Ares' ult.
This ability heals Chang'e and allies in the area while also damaging enemies. Something really important to remember: This also reduces the healing of nearby enemies by 50% for 4 seconds, making it good against life steal or other healers.
This is her ultimate - it is a line ability that damages and stuns enemies hit. The stun has a base length of one second, but an additional second is added per enemy hit, making it great in team fights.
It is important to use this for set up rather than killing enemies that are low health. The stun is much more valuable than the damage. It's also important not to be selfish with this ability since you will likely have it on a low cooldown anyways.
Crescent Moon Dance > Moonflower Dance or vice versa if the enemy can heal.
Waxing Moon > Crescent Moon Dance > Moonflower Dance or
Waxing Moon > Moonflower Dance > Crescent Moon Dance if the enemy can heal.
She doesn't really have set combos other than these due to her low cooldowns and how situational her ultimate is.
4.1 - I was soooo unhappy with the builds & so I just kinda ignored this entire guide for a while. Its probably still a little rough but hopefully a lot better
