Carry


As the ADC (Attack Damage Carry), your job is to have heavy late game DPS for objectives such as Fire Giant, and structures such as towers and phoenixes. While you can be a lane bully in the case of gods like Anhur and Ullr, you need to give yourself the ability to have high damage late game. This is done through either Critical Strikes, or shred builds with Qin's Sais and Odysseus' Bow.

Mid Lane


As the mid laner, you have two jobs that your build helps you accomplish. The first one is obviously to have high damage in the late game, as any carry should. The second is to have high burst damage potential for following up initiation from your Jungler, Support, or Solo laners. Anhur can work in the mid lane because of his quick wave clear, bully potential with his passive, Enfeeble, and his high burst damage.

Jungle


While a rather odd pick, Anhur is one of the best hunters to play in the Jungle role. He can clear a jungle camp with good speed, has high gank potential with his Disperse into Impale combo, and has high burst damage with his ultimate. The benefit of picking a hunter in the jungle is that you are a third late game threat that the enemy team has to deal with, instead of a god whose damage falls off.

Crit or Heavy Shred?

You should build Crit in the following situations:

  • The enemy team is squishy.
  • The enemy team is low on Physical protections.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
