Hey guys, sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place, but it seemed like the right place to me.

As the title suggests, I'm having trouble getting images onto the site to put in my guides and whatnot.
I've tried uploading through imgur and deviant art to no avail.

Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong? Do the pictures have to be a certain size? A certain file type (they're jpeg at the moment)?

Any help appreciated, cheers!

In order to use images from imgur, devian etc. You need to make sure, that the images you are using are set to public. After that smitefire requires you to use direct link to those images.

Most of the times the size of the image doesn't matter, since it still extends over the guide layout if it's too big.

Are the pictures yours or someone else's? If their yours you should be able to change settings. I'm using photobucket, so can't help much with imgur or DevianArt...

Just a note, if you set just the image's width or height in bbcode, it will scale the other one proportionally. If you set both and the aspect ratio isn't the same as the original image you'll end up stretching it. eg:

Original:Width=40:Width=40, Height=20:

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
