DBZ was the first anime I watch and will always be my favorite. Watching the japanese dub made me hate the funimation dub, but I still love DBZ regardless.

Admit it, if it wasn't for DBZ, you wouldn't know just what the hell anime is to this day (or maybe Sailor moon, Knights of the Zodiac, or any other 80's anime for that matter, but you know what I mean). c:

Pretty much this. I think I liked DBZ for a total of one week when I was in elementary school, and I had to spend a week at a family friend's house for my Spring Break because my parents went out of town. Pretty much the only thing for me to do was watch a DBZ marathon.

I have friends who love the show religiously, but I just can't get over the fact that there are episodes that have nothing but them talking, powering up, walking, and/or preparing for some disappointing fight.

Actually, the anime that got me into watching anime was Yu Yu Hakusho a long time ago. I don't watch anime anymore, but I do re-watch that one from time to time. Still love it.

It is true, DBZ had potential to be a much better anime, but still it can't be helped, and it is what it is. I just don't see how people can DISlike it. It's not awful, but (apparently) it's not one of the best.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
