Vots locked.

[x] In good old' Ares fashion take your prisoner shackles and impale him in the stomach, then chain him to a nearby object (pillar, statue, ect.) and laugh as he bleeds out.

German Suplex him, then drop the Peoples Elbow.

Look around to see if their is anything you could use to your advantage.

You're in a corridor. No pillars or statues or anything nearby. There are some chunks of brick on the floor, and some torches on the walls, but they're designed to take two hands to get off the bracket.

Also...how do you impale someone with shackles.

For the sake of my sanity, I had to put in dice rolls for this one.

Chances of successful dodge: 25%. Because you're trying to dodge a sword in a narrow corridor.

Attacking the Warden: 1d100 87

Dice gods, plz.

[x] Dodge, then counterattack.

As the blade whistles through the air, you leap into a roll, ducking under the slash, rising behind him, hands coming around to swing the manacles at his head-

Which the warden deflects, his sword held high.

So you kick him in the chest.

Your kick doesn't quite send him flying, but it's close. You knock him back against the wall hard enough to dislodge shards of brick from the hole you made, but the warden quickly recovers, face set in a grim sneer.

He advances on you, far more cautiously than before. Evidently, the time for words are over. But this time, it is he that is backed against a wall.

[x] Retreat. That was way too close. I can't be lucky forever.
[x] Keep fighting. No, I can do this. It's payback time.
-[x] Full Nelson time. ??????
-[x] Write-in...

I just wanted a justification of an implausible action, and fortunately, the dice gods were merciful this day. It was just an experiment.

Votes locking in twelve hours.

(assuming you let me vote Sub since you asked me personally to check this out)

[x]Keep fighting. No, I can do this. It's payback time.

No reason not to. I mean: A) If we're gonna use daddy's help later then we need to prove we are worthy of the title "The Son of War." No better chance to prove our worth than now in our condition.

B) We have "Heavy Manacles" aka those iron things that somewhat hurt in their regular lightweight form. Are you telling me that the thing is now heavy? Flail anyone? Then again, we could also try to choke/break his neck with the chain.
What my yearbook quote should be: "Fluorine Uranium Carbon Potassium Ytrrium Oxygen Uranium Bismuth Technetium Einsteinium"

Well, obviously you can vote. Anyone can vote. You can rescind your vote or change it, too.

Votes locking in about six hours.

I'm going to have a new mechanic:

Extra lives. You get three extra lives this entire quest, because a demigod's quest is fraught with peril and dangers beyond mortal ken, so buckle up.

Why? No reason.

Okay, **** it. We're going with dice-based combat.

[x] Full Nelson Time. (20% chance of success, -10 penalty (exhausted + mangled hands), 10% total chance of success)

Roll: 1d100 0

Um...okay. That is what we call a critical failure.

He had the longer weapon; therefore, you had get in close.

You got into a crouch, hands apart.

You charge at him, ready for the swing, and you leap over his frantic, clumsy slash-

Only you trip over a random piece of brick, and end up jumping on his sword.

You register a blade of pure agony ripping into your chest, your last painful gasps and twitches as you see your lifeblood drip onto the floor, and the warden's disdainful expression as he kicks you off of his sword.

You heard that dying was painless, at the end. In your case, it wasn't.

So, you died.

Remaining Extra Lives: 2.

So now you have three options.

[x] Restart at:
-[x] Right after breaking out.
-[x] After failing to bait him.
-[x] After successfully dodging.

It's up to you. Votes locked when I wake up, which should be in twelve hours.

On a personal note, I do like and will allow crazy awesome things, but I have a tendency to lean toward realism. There is a time and place for doing crazy, risky things, but I can't let you guys always get successful actions when some actions are just...suicidal, to be frank.

Basically, I'd appreciate it if you guys toned it down a little bit.
