We are happy to announce the winners of our Halloween God Creation Contest! 🎉

We haven't received as many entries as previous years, but we've really enjoyed the top ones of this year! It has been a tough week of judging and we are finally ready to reveal the winners. Before moving on, we would like to say that we greatly enjoyed reading your creative concepts, they could be a true source of inspiration even for the Hi-Rez team themselves!

Grand Prize Winner! ($70 USD Steam Game)
 Ozanoku - Izanagi, God of Creation and Life

Congratulations to our second time in a row grand prize winner, Ozanoku, the author of Izanagi, the best concept of this contest! They will receive their choice of any Steam game(s) of $70 USD value and a special golden Halloween Undead badge!

Notable facts about Izanagi, the God of Creation and Life:
  • Japanese melee Warrior that empowers himself by gathering the power of his godly children through his passive, Eternal Deed.

  • Could be played as a Jungler or Solo laner, excelling at both thanks to his high damage output and survivability.

  • Has a very well-rounded kit that allows him to be elusive, disruptive, and also a big threat to squishy targets.

  • Interesting lore and connection to gods already present in the game, through lore, interactions and his passive ability.

  • The author has done an amazing job at portraying Izanagi's abilities and how they would look and feel like in-game.

Stuke99 - Lycaon, the Wolf King
  • Greek melee Warrior that forcefully switches between human and wolf forms. Timing is key!

  • Not a stance switcher! Abilities are the same in both form, but gain bonuses during wolf form.

  • Ultimate allows him to become a wolf at will for an extended time, gaining bonus stats and buffing all of his abilities.

  • Adaptable god that can be played as a Jungler, Solo or Support, thanks to his versatile kit.

  • Clean formatting and nicely designed artwork of Lycaon and his two menacing forms!

BananaHammer33 - Moros, the God of Doom
  • Greek melee assassin that harnesses enemy souls to enhance his abilities.

  • Can throw his daggers and recall them at any time to deal extra damage. While unarmed, his other primary abilities have different effects.

  • Great at dealing damage, disrupting enemies, and taking advantage of enemy's lack of vision when turning invisible
  • Can pick between three different ultimate abilities. Choosing the right one for every situation is an important part of Moros' effectiveness!

  • Great concept, well thought out and presented, definitely could see Moros battling among the gods!

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
