- Hel has received a complete visual makeover with an all new model, animations and fx - Using abilities in one stance no longer places a cooldown on abilities in the other stance. - A bug was fixed that was giving Hel the passive benefits or her ultimate earlier than intended. You must now train rank 1 of her ultimate to receive the MP5 or Magical Power benefits.
- When Hel is in a stance, she gradually attunes to the strengths of that stance, gaining up to +20% damage in the Dark Stance and +20% healing in the Light Stance.
- Cast time before the projectile spawns was increased from 0.25s to 0.3s - Damage reduced from 80/140/200/260/320 to 70/120/170/220/270 - Magical power scaling reduced from 60% to 50% - Healing changed from 50% of damage done to 50/95/140/185/230
- Cast time before the damage occurs increased from 0.4s to 0.55s - Damage reduced from 100/160/220/280/340 to 80/130/180/230/280 - Magical power scaling reduced from 80% to 70% - Healing reduced from 70/110/150/190/230 to 60/90/120/150/180 - Magical power scaling reduced from 60% to 50% - The speed bonus now scales with rank from 20% at all ranks to 10/12.5/15/17.5/20% - The mana cost changed from 70/75/80/85/90 to 60/65/70/75/80
- For new players, match queues under the Normal tab now unlock for play based on your level as follows:
Arena -- Available to play at Level 1
Conquest - Available to play at Level 1
Joust 3v3 - Available to play at Level 1
Assault - Available to play at Level 6
Domination - Available to play at Level 6
Joust 1v1 - Available to play at Level 6
Match of the Day - Available to play at Level 6
- A jump emote has been added to Guan Yu, Neith, Ra, Thor, Ymir, Anhur, Athena, Freya, Hercules and Ne Zha. By default, players jump using the spacebar, although this can be re-bound on the Controls tab of the SETTINGS menu. Some current players of the game may need to bind jump to the spacebar. Jump does not evade abilities and should have limited to no gameplay benefit (it is just for fun). Other gods will have jump added to them in future patches.
- A new SETTINGS option has been added to the User Interface tab to Disable Context (Ward) Pinging. If this option is checked, pings will not occur automatically when enemy players walk into a warded area.
- Broodlings and Artemis Traps no longer activate the automatic context ping.
- The team balancing algorithm for Assault has changed. Both teams in Assault should now have the same number of gods from each class. However, which classes you have will be randomized. For example: Both teams may wind up with, say, four Mages and one Warrior. Previously, each side would have one member of each class member. Note that, under this algorithm, some players may be able to play with gods they do not yet own.
- Fire minions now spawn in Assault mode after the Phoenix is taken. As a game lengthens, minion spawn waves will also spawn more minions versus minions. With these changes, the minion spawn algorithm for Assault now matches that in Joust.
- Fixed an issue in which Active Items sometimes could not be sold when they should.
- Clan tags have been re-added to the scoreboard. They were not intentionally removed.
- Fixed a bug in which the ******* profanity filter was not working.
- Added a new Home Screen Widget that allows a training or god reveal video to be promoted.
- Maximum respawn time in all game modes is now 60 seconds (previously varied. Conquest was at 55 seconds).
- Gods that have a multi-stage basic attack progression have had the tooltips on their passive updated in order to better explain the progression.
- The End of Match Lobby has been updated with an additional panel. This shows more match information, such as accolades and several other stats.
- Some minor cleanups were made to the Conquest map.
- Added basic camera trailing/leading for overview (old isometric) camera.
- The old overview (isometric) camera is being reworked into a hybrid overhead/3D camera. This patch's overhaul is the first stage of a series of planned work.
- The key will prune various environmental props to clear the lanes.
- Director mode no longer snaps to the player 3p perspective.
- When in the new overhead camera, will snap 180 degrees to view from the other's perspective.
- Removed auto pinging in spectator when players come into range of a ward.

Universe Ring Toss - The damage reduction for subsequent hits has been reduced from a 30% reduction to a 25% reduction.
Ring of Spears - Fixed an issue where some gods like Freya, Thanatos, and Apollo couldn't get in or out of the ring.
Death Scythe - The health cost for using this ability has been reduced from 10% to 5%. Hovering Death - The health cost for using this ability has been reduced from 15% to 10%.
Glacial Strike - This ability no longer require`s line of sight. Hovering Death - This ability no longer require`s line of sight. Shards of Ice - This ability no longer deals damage if he dies before detonation.
I cannot express how happy I am that they did not turn her into a Tyr with her switch stances being a regular skill, and that her kit is the same (although rebalanced).
The shared cooldown removal is wonderful, because they did it in a way that her burst is still potentially the same via her passive.
Asi may be finally useful (I would laugh at people who got it before)
New items are underwhelming for me though.
But after seeing these sort of hel buffs (even though everything's reduced, her passive impacts the whole team) I might finally play her in an actual normal for the first time ever! Arena, of course ;D
What are you smoking? People have been begging for more variety to the magic resistance itemization for a good while now, and we've finally got some. Namely:
MRes+MP5+CDR. Possible alternative to Breastplate of Valor if you don't need the physical proteciton. I for one would definitely be building this on my tanks.
Another MRes+HP item. It's about the same as Bulwark of Hope, but a lot cheaper for those who don't really want to pay the extra for Bulwark's passive.
Also nice to see they buffed Asi with penetrations and made it a physical item instead. Might be a better alternative to Soul Eater now.
