Athena Patch Notes 06/04/2013

I despise Shackle *shivers* You have a point.

What I meant is that Athena actually works to do two things: Deal it to the enemy, and prevent it on both herself and allies. It's intense stuff.

I <3 Athena.
I think she is pretty well balanced not to strong, but defiantly not to weak. I only have 2 complains.

First and main problem I have is that Defender of Olympus needs to do less damage and have a seconded effect like silence all enemies it hits or grant Athena and her ally movement speed buff. It needs to be primarily meant for saving a allies life and getting Athena pack in action after she died or quickly in to a team fight. Currently its seems to be primarily meant for kill stealing, but Athena is a tank and as a tank you should NEVER kill steal (even as damaging tank like Odin or Guan Yu you should let your ally get the kill).

The other is Reach. Its really lacking in my opinion, its ok when farming but for everything else its barley noticeable because of its just gives a SINGLE ranged basic attack and noting else it needs to do more or last for longer then one attack.

Get a room! Athena is balanced, as it is dependent on the user not her. And she is russian. VODKA

I have been experimenting with Athena as an AP Bruiser, and its pretty nasty. Use her 3 on top of enemy, then taunt them, and have the 3 shatter, and you get some nice damage out. With Hades/Ares/Odin/Ymir, her ult is devastating. Going to keep tweaking out a build, but I dont think Athena is meant to be a straight up tank, she feels so much like a bruiser.
