Nox's Passive question

Potato-tier player here, sorry if this is something a lot of people ask or that is seemingly self-explanatory. Nox's passive says that one of her candles are blown out whenever she takes damage from an enemy god. However it is unclear to me exactly when the candle is blown out; Say you have all 4 candles lit and you are hit by an enemy god, is the damage applied with the full 16% damage mitigation, THEN your candle is blown out resulting in 12% afterwards, or is the damage you take from the enemy god immediately applied with only 12% damage mitigation?

you should get the 16% mitigation and then lose a candle going to 12% (otherwise it doesn't make any sense at all)

Hmmm, okay. Yeah I agree that it wouldn't make sense otherwise and getting the entire % first is what I was hoping for, but seeing how Nox is considered to be such a low tier it wouldn't have surprised me if it was the other way around either.

Nox is actualy realy very goodif you play her in the right way, especially good on a solo lane early game and late game if you build her right.

Um. No. Nox is outclassed by every solo laner because she doesn't do enough damage and the silence is worthless; her ult is awful, and her shield is strictly worse than Retribution. She's not good.

Retribution isn't a bad shield ... even heal's you and reflect damage. Not a Odin Raven Shout, but something that makes sense with Nemesis

Those days when Nox was too good? Yeah. She needed that rework.

@perfectprism: I'm not dissing Retribution, but like... Nox gets less mitigation, no reflection, and no healing? Awful.
