Yeah I know. However, I have a proposal. I have over 50 gods "mastered," and look at me. I suggest the following:
  • make mastery rank 1 "okay you should have a decent idea of how this God plays
  • make mastery 10" okay NOW you should pretty much be a master with this God. If you still suck, go find another game to play. I suggest Candy Crush."

Is that too long?

honestly I see tons of mastery X's that play gods terribly. Mastery levels aren't the best indicator, they do show that you've dealt with more scenarios as that god, but getting to mastery X in arena doesn't mean that you're at all prepared to even deal with clash.

Agree, I have Kali to Mastery X, because I have much fun to play her in Arena.
But I won't do anything good with her on other modes.

Now that I'm learning Conquest, I hid my mastery, because it doesn't mean anything.

Smite's mastery system is a bit bad in this concept. LoL system only goes for sumonner rift modes (and rotating I believe).

I would almost suggest to make the mastery system mode specific. would be funny

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
