Yeah, I can tell this is about to get derailed very hard with yet another series of rambling arguments and certain members attacking each other for grudges they hold. It's fine to critique someone's opinions and whether or not they're actually creative, but if you're going to be a part of the thread, you should contribute your own opinion of what Smite has done creatively. If all you've come here to do is berate those who think positively about the game, then just stop commenting now. If you have some opinions to add to the discussion, then feel free to present them and argue against (in a non-condescending manner) what you feel to be uncreative.

I'll name all the gods that are at least somewhat creative I think. Well I will say why. I'll just go through every God and think of something creative and why its creative.
I'd say most gods have SOMETHING that is creative to them, but most Gods have something similar as well, like a lined skill shot or AOE damage. However if I had to choose what I think is the top creative Gods in term of how they work, what they do and their kit. I would say.
* Thanatos
* Aphro
* Agni
* Vulcan
* Ne Zha
* Sun Wukong
I say those mainly because they seem different when you see them in game compared to other gods, don't get me wrong these other gods below have like 1 Ability that may be WAY more creative I was just trying to think overall.
Agni - His kit based around stun combo's is kind of creative and he is the only God in the game that has a manaless ranged poke ult that keeps coming back non stop. I think his kit is creative in the the fact that every move stuns with fumes.
AMC - Compared to other hunters he is kind of creative, His bee hives and his 3 that you can angle is creative. No other hunter has a skill that you can move around and spray from what I can remember.
Anhur - His wall stun is a creative idea, we have stuns but Anhur's knockback is a stun at the same time if they hit a wall.
Aphro - I think her link is a creative idea, no other God has a link to team mates, except the nox utl that we just got but it doesn't link to team mates it links to enemies.
Ares - His ult and chains are pretty creative I think. He has the only ult that can bring an entire team to one point, and his chains can link up to 3 enemy Gods doing damage to them all.
Art - I guess only her trap is creative.
Bakasura - His ult and eat minion ability how they work together is creative to me because you have to build up your ult and you can just get rid of a free minion or steal one under half up.
Bastest - Ult is the only creative thing
Cabraken - I guess his ult + 3 combo seems creative, not so much for the rest besides maybe the fact that his 2 gains protections and can stun but you will lose the protections so its kind of creative in that fact.
Change - Rabbit
Guan Yu - he gets a ****ing horse for an ult
Hun Batz ult - forces you away and you are feared so you cannot do anything about it, its the only ult I can think of that forces you in the opposite direction while fearing you.
Janus - portal *********
***bah - Can fling a ****ing minion snipe
Loki - his bastard *** vanish and his decoy that attracts minions to attack it
Ne Zha - except 2
Neith - weave interaction
Odin - Ult nuff said
Osirs - his passive is creative and his 3
Poseidon - release a ****ing kraken..... and whirl pool cripples while pulling...
Ra - his 2 and heal
Rama - ult and arrows that can be picked back up
Scylla - can ult 5 times....
Sun wukong - probably one of the most creative because of his damn 3 is 3 abilities in one
sylvanus - I guess his autos is creative for a guardian
THanatos - entire kit is creative for the most part
Thor - yes, he can fly half way across the map and teleport with a hammer....
Tyr - That fearless CC
Vulcan - because he doesn't have to do any work.....
Actually I have to agree with two of those yes. AMC as a whole was fairly creative (especially given how the entirety of his surviving lore is "He's the God of Bees", and the VGS system is something that more games need and aside from them being a little slow on filling in the missing lines they've done a great job on it so far.
This bit of naivete in this thread makes me laugh.
Ullr isn't original at all. HiRezKelly personally told me so.
He is literally a kit made at the last second before the deadline due to them being unable to agree on a more original kit.
Besides, how can you call his kit original?
Stances? Just like Hel and Tyr, you mean?
His leap is a generic leap.
His arrow is just like every other "pierce everything undodgeable 'skill'shot."
His steroids are just generic stat gains, as usual.
His melee/ranged bit is also unoriginal, and pointless, since he's always ranged when basic attacking.
His axe throw is just Anhur's thing with no knockback.
He's literally every other ADC mashed into one.
And if you think his melee form works well with his ranged form, you are the dumbest person I have ever met besides Arka. You NEVER use melee basics 99% of the time, you ALWAYS use axe form to either escape with 2/3 spam, or stun someone before swapping to ranged form. He is not an assassin, either. His melee form is meaningless except a way to slap on more skills to his ranged form.
Ok, I'm wrong he's not "original" but you don't have to act like such a cocky ******* about it, you have been attacking me instead of disagreeing with my post. All I said was that I "think" Ullr is creative and what do you do, call me stupid and naive for having an opinion. I bet you are one of those narcissistic meat heads who think they are god and that everything they say or do is right. You have lost any respect from me and others, good day.
