The game took off during the match, launched again, from the match threw out and gave a ban. Is there any way to communicate this problem to the developers?
Yep. HiRez.com or Smite.com should have a support ticket section. I can post a link after I get back on my computer if you need it, but it'll be awhile from when I post this.
when my game messed up like that and I got a couple of dc's in two days I emailed support to avoid a ban. I think it worked. There was a jackass saying to report me for leaving the game but I came back as soon as I could. I had to reboot my computer for the game to allow me back in and I was lvl 1 with the match at mid/end portion so I couldn't go out and help. didn't know it would do that.
I only report if the player leaves the match relatively early and doesn't return. I can't assume why they didn't, but a single report won't adversely affect them. If, however, they make a habit of it, then that report is just another piece of evidence to justify a ban.
