The thread's done a mildly good job of staying on topic, but please try to keep it that way, heh. Don't like to see fighting amongst the regulars. Focus the hatred on the enemy team...and tiermonster ;)

in all seriousness if these kinds of things continue some one indifferent on the mather will pull everyone together and forciffly force all of them to make up.

if that person ends up being me (i hope its not for (my, yours or someones choose which one you want to fill in) sake, its going to end this. i guarantee that.

So I played just two matches and a little solo playing by myself with Arachne. Both games I played (won conq lost siege), Arachne basically carried and did well. While you could say that people are getting used to her kit, she does fine imo but I guess it takes more than two games and a little personal game to check this god out.

All I had time for but she seems promising!

Not really my fault that Penta's being a douchenozzle.

Anyway, I had more games with New Arachne. Newrachne. Her clear is still bad, her damage is good, but the problems remain. Unless you're attacking people who frankly deserve to die, like walking in the jungle at half health or tower diving at early levels, etc, you aren't going to get kills.

Clear: 2/5. Low AoE damage cripples this one. Your sustain is not the best, and gods who could clear faster don't even need the sustain in the first place. Overall, her clear is below average. It's not as bad as Bacchus, but it still isn't the best in the world.

Ganks: 1/5: You can burst people down, but unless they do something incredibly stupid, you can't gank for ****. People can pop their escapes as soon as they're slowed, and that's...pretty much it. What makes this even worse is how is blocked by minions, on top of being your only hard CC.

Early Presence: 2/5. Your inability to gank combined with your weak early game damage makes you pretty bad at any early game engagements, again, outside of killing a guy at <25% health, which any other assassin can do.

Late Presence: 2/5. You aren't Mercury, no one screams in fear with encountering Arachne late game. She has damage, and as long as you respect that damage, there's little to fear from Arachne late game.

Teamfight Presence: 3/5. She can extend CC pretty nastily with , but she doesn't bring much else to a teamfight other than finishing people off with her damage - and her forced reliance on autoattacks with no gap closer means she can't do that unless faced with really, really uncoordinated teams.

Objective Control: 3/5. Her Web is overrated as ****. The slow is what makes it even decent, and even then, people can just brush it off or ignore it entirely, especially when they can burst you down if you show up. The Web is better than nothing, and I suppose she is a decent duelist, but the whole lack of mobility combined with generally low damage means that you can't ward people off since they're not afraid of you.

Overall: 2.16/5. Below average, mediocre at best, trash tier at worst. Just bad.
