Hmmm, not sure what happened with SmiteGuru, but the site is only showing games as long as 4 days ago, so I don't have links to the games themselves right now.

Summary based on memory...played a couple of matches with clanmates... Support for one or two games with Zilby, Ferrum, and Stuke, (and then added GGF), then we had a nice custom 3v3 match where we got to hear God (aka Ducks) tell his teammates not to suck/die (with a lot of swearing from Stuke, like usual), and finally another Conquest match where Ducks replaced Ferrum.

And that's where I get to talk a bit about my newest experience with .

I've tried playing support a few times in the past, mostly because she's always considered one of the strongest guardians, and I need all the help I can get. Historically, I've royally sucked with her...wasn't good at timing with my ult, was too aggressive early and died multiple times, etc.

The new comment system

The new comment system is not compatible with Internet Explorer whatsoever. It lags unbearably and just recently stopped allowing me to even POST my comments. So please, Mowen, is there a way that just I, ME alone, can switch back to the old commenting system? Like an options menu for the site or whatev.

And no, I cant use google chrome, because for whatever reason it takes forever to load any thing.

No lengthy introduction this time, because I couldn't think of one. Also, I'm going on another camping trip, so I'm putting all my images in spoilers now. I've been putting it off forever.

Yeah, my drawing wasn't so good this time. I should probably clean my trackball, it's been getting stuck. I couldn't play much Smite today because of the servers going down, but I still have Homestuck to keep me entertained. I'm probably going to use a Doge in the next one, but don't count on it.

Smite: Is it still fun?

I want to start by saying I think Hi-Rez is taking quite a plummet in popularity and is starting to confuse itself in what it wants. (Also warning, a loooot of reading ahead.)

I believe that this all started nearing the end of season 2, season 3 was gearing up and everyone was aboard the band wagon and we all thought Smite was going to be even better. Truth is, it's starting to not become any fun. As Gods get released we see more and more abilities that have way too much scaling, fun tactics becoming too hard to pull off and a more repetitive gameplay coming into the scene with meta and tier lists.

Is there anything we can do to improve this? Not to my knowledge but what I can suggest is Hi-Rez takes 2 steps back a moment and figures out what would be best for the community, not the high level play. Everything gets balanced according to how the pros are playing and whilst yes it is true that they know more then the average player...Don't you think some suggestions are making the game…

Soo....Hey!

I know I've been gone for quite a while and I know that I barely talk to anyone which is very odd for me. I guess you can say I've been playing too much overwatch as of late and barely given myself any time for Smite.

So what am I doing right now? Exams, revision and gaming...Also sleeping, definitely sleeping. My Merc guide is rather nice and is going along swimmingly and the Macmillan project is doing fine as of late.

I'll try and be as social and as talkative as I used to be but no promises. Also, if anyone actually wants to play Overwatch with me... Sodsboy#2100 for ya'll.

Yeah, I ran out of ideas for a while, so I ended up just posting status updates for a while, then I ran out of that and made a ****py filler post. Now, I'm trying to go back to my roots and maybe get into some kind of basic formula. I'm thinking of making my comics about personal experiences I've had with gods I think aren't balanced. I saw some blogs about other games people are playing instead of Smite, like Overwatch and The Witcher 3, and considered making a comic about other games I'm playing. But the only other games I've been playing recently are Minecraft (which has no story) and Undertale (which has such a good story I don't dare spoil it). Also, sorry for lying, Ducksrock. Your suggestion was great but I'm to dumb to use it.

Although the last post and this one have been posted on the same day, a week passed between the games mentioned then and now.

Last post saw me try Mid for the first time, and we'll see yet another role played this time, though, well, you'll see.

4 games, 4 different gods, and playing with 4 clanmates...These were all with Stuke, Ferrum, Taco, and Ducks.

Group Queue Game 1: Support

Not much to say about this one, game-wise. Their Support never showed, and they surrendered at 7 minutes.

The thing I WILL talk about is how I don't like . I'm sure his passive is great late-game, but I just don't like his gameplay. He's so passive in comparison to , that I feel I'm doing nothing most of the time. To be fair, I'll give him another chance later, but he's not likely going to be a normal pick for me. 's kit is way more fun and fits my playstyle much better.
