Title.

Okay, I don’t have a lot of experience with Warriors (I only play with and ), but why people say is boring? Because her kit relies on her 2? Because she doesn’t deal a lot of damage?

Yeah, that’s true. But is that a bad thing? She becomes basically unkillable in her ult, can soak a lot of damage and can disrupt the enemy team with her leap and with .

I honestly don’t understand why people say she’s boring. I’d like to hear some opinions.

She does barely any damage to squishies than previously in the past and is basically a walking bodyblock/passive.

Okay let's start with her kit:
Passive - Something that only works late game and bring 0 bonus to you until it is (at least 1 part) fully charged. Ugh, boring.

Skill 1 - - It brings a decent damage, however, it requires good aim and predictions to hit all the 2 or 3 hit and for what? A disarm? And if your enemy is a ? So, a lot of efforts for almost nothing.

Skill 2 - - A good passive but bad active. The HP5 is nice to keep alive since she has 0 healing, however, the active is just a button you must press to try to make her "less ineffective".

Skill 3 - - Hard CC, nice, BUUUTT, the jump is extremely slow and you have to waste to make it worth, but if you waste your plan of action now, you won't be able to hit the third hit of which mean less damage. Don't forget that your cooldowns are high and this is your escape, so jump in a wrong moment into the enemy team is road to death.

Skill 4 - - Ah, the best skill in the entire kit, capable to make you the tankiest warrior and probably the tankiest god. Very good, the only skill that's fun to use.

As you see, in her kit there are a lot of problems and it forces you to play safe early game 'cause all these skills have a RIDICULOUS long cooldowns. So you are not able to win ANY matchup on solo. Yeah you can't die, but also can't kill. Also late game, making some cooldowns you make your kit less problematic but you are an AMBULANT MEAT SHIELD. You don't have enough CC's or damage or whatever to force enemy fight with you or see you as threat (besides the ulti).

Now the big question: DOES IT WORTH? Leave your entire early/mid game for only late game? and plus, now with the totem of ku, how will you fight for it? Nike is like a Geb solo, leave your game to late game, but as you can see hi-rez is forcing people play with something more early/mid (like most part of other warriors) to stop these solos where nobody fights until late game.

I don't even need to mention that sometimes there isn't late game, due snowball/surrenders. Without late game, you are not even useful for your team.

About other modes outside conquest it is even worst 'cause you tend to be bullied until late game and again, sometimes this late game never comes (like in joust where you hardly ever gets level 20/finish all your items) or is too fast (like the "Arena Late game")

Good points overall. I'd like to offer some further insights.

: Other gods have self-buffs...think of 2 of 's abilities, and Aimed Strike. Thing with those abilities is that they're tied to follow-up basics. That's fine, because they're not making themselves dependent on another ability. However, this one instead enhances effects of whichever ability you use immediately after activating this, and this is a problem.

: Wanted to point out Plan first, because there's a big, big issue with this. Although it offers knockback immunity, it can be immediately shut down with a stun, or a majority of its usefulness with a root. That's pretty much all of her damage potential, and when stunned, immediately kills 2 of her abilities, both of which are regular abilities. That's bad. Combine that with a long CD, and now she's only got a cleave basic or a relatively boring (and slow) leap.

: Too slow when not buffed by Plan. Knockup is great, though. But it's almost never worth it to use Plan with Leap, making it usually an escape, or a relocation ability to then ult, or to try to peel for a teammate.

Solutions:

Rend: Make it immune to stuns. An issue? Okay, drop the damage. Instead of 50/80/110/140/170 +40% scaling (making it 150/240/330/420/510 + 120% scaling), make it 30/60/90/120/150 +30% scaling (yielding 90/180/270/360/450 +90% scaling). Might even drop the increase further...instead of a 30 damage increase per rank, maybe 25. Much less damage potential, but it doesn't just get shut down (or shut down 2 abilities at once).

An added condition could be that if she gets hit by any CC, her movement when channeling Rend is slowed by X%.
Plan of Action: Not a needed adjustment, but you could make it more interesting on its own. Give it a bonus basic attack damage function while it's active. Doesn't have to be a bunch...just something to make it able to do something on its own. Then, give it a duration where you have to activate an ability before the time is up. 4 or 5 seconds would be fine.
Valiant Leap: In addition to quicker movement when combined with Plan of Action, have the AOE radius increased. 15 units is pretty small. Make it 25 units, to make it more worthwhile to combine with Plan. As with any other retool for an ability, you can consider other adjustments as necessary.

Make those changes, and I feel she'll be more fun to play, and less useless when her 2-1 is shut down.

Reading through this, I had an idea. What if was changed to work similar to 3 minus the heal. You activate it to gain a certain amount of protections and have like 4 or 5 seconds to use another ability for the enhanced effects. Hi-Rez wants her to be a tanky front liner so why not give her a bit more protections. Would give protections to help her tank better when her ult is down? Thoughts?

I think she's perfectly tanky as-is, without giving her added protections. She already gets added tankiness in her ult. She doesn't need it in 2 abilities.

That's why I think IF you change Plan, giving her some added offensive function would be better. Just my opinion, though.

Maybe I like her because she’s like a Support outside of the duo lane lol.

Nike is boring if you're an aggressive player and wants to do things Early Game. Like Amaterasu, both rely on playing super defensive until the Late Game where their more supportive play style takes off when everyone stops laning and starts team fighting. So to sum it up, if you're aggressive, you're not going to like Nike.

A large majority of the player base don't like actively playing guardian/support, that's just a fact.
