Today was not the best of days in the gaming lands of Smite for a couple reasons. Or should I say people. Like why man? Why.

1) Like the troll and crazy guy I am, I love this Omnipotence MOTD because most of my favorite gods can do well on it. I generally find it to be a good time. OR I die alot thx to . Screw these s I swear. But it was not the s. They were fine. It was this stupid guy I wont name, who for some just spammed the **** out of the V Command system. SOO much negativity in under 5 mins. I could not handle it and I muted him. I unmuted him to see if was behaving and the first thing he said was complaining about me, when I was doing good. I got ****ing pissed.

2) After a game with my friends and taking a break I tried doing Clash. Our decides to DC. And then our SWK starts complaining again and again and again. Starts saying **** like "Surrender at 10". Did not help my teams morality. The rest of my team decides to fight higher leveled enemies, alone. Or if they team up they get erased. They sat at base and watched our Titan go down.

3) **** it I said, I will play Assault, my favorite game mode (for some unknown reasons). One of these games I got . During the swapping phase, two guys were CONSTANTLY wanting to trade with me. I declined all of them and went in game. The was one of them and generally did not care at all and was good. Now this was the other one and was lagging to ****, and gave first blood. Then he started spamming V Commands for him to heal him when he was basically dead. Then the "noob aphro" and "idiots" came. I tried to ignore it but he blamed all of his deaths on me, when it was just his lag. We lost like I expected us to, but man **** this . You are a ******* tank with 3 escapes and a shield, Im trying to keep our squishies alive to deal damage. Freaking prick.

Does this count as a rant? I hope so, cause ****.

The tilt is real.

Just a general rule for muting if you mute someone don't unmute them and if people are negative you better mute them especially if it's pointed at you.

I always think that they will "behave" and I dont like the idea of muting someone in a team based game where communication is sometimes key.

I'd say it depends on the type of player, you can sometimes distinguish between them; like someone who only got upset by the situation and can at least speak with some sense, and you also have the true ******s sometimes trying to speak to which would be an absolute waste of your effort.

You need to change your sleeping habits and play when I play. It'll be more fun then.

From unknown reasons, from my experiences wins as well as defeats tend to occur in streaks; if the matchmaking system was existant I'd say I know what may be the origin but I doubt it's the case.

Well what works for me sometimes in such cases is muting everyone and listening to some soothing music in the background.

The thing is, is that it stays in my head despite my best efforts. Soothing music does not usually help me.

Need a playlist to get the blood pumping and makes you want to start a mosh pit, hit me up.

Generally I find that music makes smite more fun if you're having a good time, but worse if you're not, if that makes sense
