i'm writing a long *** guide about how to support, and i can't find a decent guide for plenty of gods (some of these i did find, but these are outdated).

This is making me nervous since i don't know if i should erase all my guide and re-start it but talking about mages.
But back to the point, we need guides for a lot of gods...

I have a serious problem with this blog, implying that this site is "dying" due to some gods not having guides made about them. As someone who has been making guides on this site for 5 years and counting, including some of the gods listed here, I take issue as I cannot be on this site too often and trying to update guides for certain Gods that are being played frequently seem to garner a lot of views so priority for the meta is a huge factor to what guide gets updated first. I'll try to get my other guides as quickly as I can but I have things in my life that are taking priority right now and simply don't have the time to keep all my guides constantly updated. I understand the concern for a lack of up-to-date guides but saying things like "dying" is something I won't let slide as that causes bigger issues that the original statement.

I don't think this site is dying, but like you said below, people make guides for gods they like. Not to mention that just some gods are more popular than others. The issue isn't helped by the bad light this site has in most of the communities eyes so people who might make guides for these gods do so on other sites that are more respected. Though all of that isn't to say that the site isn't on the decline but I think we can get decent traffic with a couple of site and reputation changes.

Well let's be honest. Smite isn't that popular and there are a lot of characters so it's kinda hard find people to write guides for all these gods and even harder find people with enough knowledge to write good guides. Plus we all have a life outside here and sometimes we just can't keep all the guides updated as we wanted.

I'm really busy right and I'm taking a break as I will write on a blog sooner, so I probably will take a break of this site and maybe smite too, to think about my life and some ***** I've seen and heard, so I can't create another guide. I would love make long and detailed guides for all those gods like my guide is, but I wouldn't be able to keep them updated. I barely can keep my quick guides updated nowadays :p

Eh, I'll get to my Bacchus guide soon. Just been really busy at work. Can't speak to the rest of those Gods listed though. As for a support guide are you talking about something more in depth then the support chapter in The Conquest guide? What topics are you covering?

gimme a jungle bacchus guide :P ... we had 4phys in a game, so i went jungle bacchus, hah. It was fun but I reached a point where I didn't know what to build, haha

Pen shoes->celestial helm/dynasty->void stone->magus->poly->situational. Relics would be blink and either beads or frenzy.

How often are you going to get good use from Belch with such a squishy build?

Blink->ult->burp then either use flop to chase down or retreat. ;)

I'd build Magus as in my non-conquest dunk squad build example, but probably wouldn't do it in Conquest Jungle...Ethereal probably a better option there if you want some power, and you just build Binding and Void for your pen.

I'll cover all gods strenghts and weaknesses, gameplay, which ones are strong in early, which ones in mid and which in late, which are strong in defense and which in initiation, tier lists, and the importance of warding... but i'm doubting people will make good use of it. I imagine i'll work my *** of for it and nobody will see it, you know? so i'm re-thinking it

i decided to change it to mages lol. support extends to a lot of characters aside to guardians and people really don't play support that much..

People don’t play support much? Yet 1/5 players in every conquest match plays support? Ok...

I know, but in casuals... I'd classify it as 1/5 players in every conquest match HAS to play support. "Wow. I have to play support? That sucks. I better instalock ."
Anyways, i went back and swapped mages for supports, and the guide is on its way, for those who appreciate it out there.

It's semantics, Kriega. The role may be called support, but I think FootFetish is saying that a lot of people who get that role don't act like they're playing support , i.e. they go with a full damage hunter or mage.

If it’s casuals then I can’t blame them - unless they don’t pick a high pressure pick. Because at that point, wtf do they expect to do in the match.

generally from no rank to platinum and even diamond V people still acting like spoiled brats when they have to play support, because they play anything but support. It's a reality

Might just be your region, this season the only time I was forced to trade was my jungler wanted Mid otherwise they would feed, I swapped and they ended up feeding anyway (because they played awful early then gave up). (They were also GM in Joust but they told me they only “play magicals”.)

They play, they just don't play very well a lot of the time.
