I started playing because of Awilix, it seemed so cool to have a goddess with a real mount

The idea of Thanatos kinda got me a bit hyped you know.
Then I saw him in game and i just went
'oh **** he looks good he's my bae now'
and that's how smite grew on me till i you know left smote but smote grows on you while you leave

Tbh it was my greek mythology addiction and SlyFoxHound ( a youtuber that used to upload smite related content, now he plays smite for funsies and he's dating Kala, the artist for the Achiviements and some ability icons in the game ( like Aphrodites and Chang'es ) )

But the first one was Aphrodite, after my penta with her on assault.

And she still keeps me playing maaaaaan

There wasn't a specific god that got me hooked. Probably because I played Assault. The first god I unlocked was Odin, because my nephew, who first got me to try the game, suggested it to me. I remember having some excitement early after games playing Kali (also the name of my old cat), Bakasura, Chaac.

My also big interest that I have to wait probably 2 weeks for console is Susano. How he plays is so interesting and probably play him in jungle and solo. Probably build him more warrior like just theory building

Bastet-chan. And then Nemesis and Hel.

Now its Awilix.

Note that they are all women. No I do not have a problem.

The one god that kept me playing for almost a year now when I was started playing was Bellona . Probably DogsRock hates my guts by now for every time I mention her probably counting everytime I say Bellona on this website. Still she was my motivation to keep playing Smite for almost a year now.

I tried out Smite a good while before starting to actually play it, but that was because my old PC wouldn't even dream about running it, so I played some matches mainly against bots on occasion on a friend's laptop.

Back then the newest god was Janus and the thing I memorised the most was me trying out the characters from the rotation, most notable being Vulcan. Judging by his animation, I could've sworn that he had a melee auto-attack; because of that I was dying REALLY often.

When I was finally able to afford a new PC it was around the Anubis visual rework. Hah.
