Zeus is a mage who is ranged and magical. He is one of my favorite gods and just received a new update. This guide will make Zeus an absolute killing machine. This is my first guide so, please take it easy.
Vampiric Shroud- This item is a good,cheap buy in the beginning to give a health boost and some extra power. Replace this for obsidian charge after you've bought the previous items.
Sprint- A standard early game item. Use this to get out of tight situations along with your 2.
Hand of the Gods- Another standard game item. Use this to get buffs in the jungle.
Health Potion- It does what is says, heals you.
Mana Potion- Once again, it does what it says. It gives you mana.
Midas Boots- These boots give you extra mana and health. They also make you move faster and give you more gold.
Ethereal Staff- Sell the Shroud, and then get this. It boosts Health and gives you additional Magical Power.
Rod of Asclepius- Awesome boosts to power and health.
Polynomicon- Similar base add-ons to Soul Reaver, but a little less power and addition lifesteal. Passive boots your basic aftwer using an ability.
Soul Reaver- Heavy boosts to power and mana. Also lets you do more damage to gods with passive ability.
Rod of Tahuiti- Last itemm buy this after you've got all other items. It gives you a HUGE boost to power.
Zeus has 4 abilities and a passive ability, as well.
Overcharge- This is your passive ability. It gives your lightning bolts (basic attack) a charge when they hit enemies. If you hit enemies with a charge, it does extra damage.Overall, its an okay ability. Comes in handy when you need it.
Chain Lightning-You fire a bolt of lightning that goes between enemies. Hits apply charges.
Damage- 45/85/125/165/205 +40% of Magical Power (188)
This is your main attack you'll be using. It's pretty standard; nothing crazy about it.
Aegis Shield- You put a "shield" around yourself granting Protections and Extra Movement Speed.
This ability is one to use when you're going in to a big group, or low on health and you need to retreat.
Protections 10/20/30/40/50
Movement Speed 10/15/20/25/30%
Basic Attack Reflect 10%
Detonate Charge- You send a bolt of lightning down on an enemy. You can charge it (up to 3 times) for extra damage.
This is a seemingly weak attack, but if you use it right, it can be deadly. First off, when you respawn or aren't near people, charge it. Make sure that when you use it, you're in close to people. Note: This is an auto-aim attack. Also, on third charge, hits cause a slow.
Damage 55/75/95/115/135 +18% of your magical power +84.6
Slow 40% for 1.5s
Lightning Storm- You make a lightning storm. It strikes enemies every second and applies a Charge on hit.
This is your ulti, so obviously its powerful. Make sure that when you cast it, you're careful because you can easily have it do NO damage.
Damage per Hit 100 120 140 160 180 +50% of magical power 235
Overall, this build is for absolutely wrecking your opponents with your high amounts of mana and magical power. You might be vulnerable in tight zones, but if played right, dominance will be achieved.

On your skill section:
It's kinda a mess (only the ult is put in right). I get why you prioritize your one but When you prioritize it you normally have your 1st skill maxed at level 10. After that I can't see which skill to prioritize next. this should be your 3 for more poking (also you can max your 3 first depending on the other god so you can poke really hard). and at last your 2 so it would be something like this: 1-3-2-1-4-1-1-3-4-1-3-3-4-3-2-2-4-2-2-4

first of your starter is nice but as a mage you never ever buy

okay uhm are you a mage or an support?
midas boots is used by supports to generate an better income because they roam so much. As mage you are msotly in lane so you can easily last hit for the money. I recommend to get
poly is a good item
rod is also good.
okay there are a lot of good items in there but this build misses some things a lot and that's CDR and pen. tanks will laugh at your damage when
On content your guide can be a lot better. your item and skill explanation is small.
I miss some basic BBcoding that can replace some typing stuff over (like skill description) and there are typo's in there.
I hope this helped you a bit to see your weak points in this guide.
(Btw I don't know which lvl you are but I don't think your in lvl 30 yet. in lvl 15-25+ you will get more difficulties when players start building better.)
