This is just my general build for most assassins. As an introduction for me, I have been playing smite for well over a year now and I've come up with a few basic recipes for each type of god. I typically average between 10-15 kills, and if I'm cautious, very few deaths. While I might vary builds with different assassins this is usually along the lines of what I build. I typically only change up the lifesteal item depending on the god or the situation. I'm using Bakasura in this build because he is my favorite god. Btw these builds are based around Assault, Arena, and Conquest, since I rarely play Joust or Domination when it is on.
These Items offer a well-balanced assassin. I rarely change anything other than the lifesteal item or the boots. If the enemy has one or two healers, then I will most likely get Brawler's Beatstick instead of Souleater, or if I want more damage I will go with Bloodforge. If I think the god's ultimate isn't worth obtaining cooldown for then I will most likely end up getting Warrior Tabi instead of Ninja Tabi. Also if you are playing Conquest then you will want to buy Bumba's Mask first, assuming you are jungling, and if you are playing Assault, then buy Qin's Sais first as they will let you do a tremendous amount of damage in the beginning, especially to tanks.

That is a bad build. YOu choose like the worst items from each section or what you wanted to do ? :D
