Introduction

Hi! I'm PhantomRivaL147 and this is my first guide!
So, Anubis. He is my main and am mastery X on him. I would usually do lifesteal on Anubis as he has generally good lifesteal anyways.

Skills

The best part about Anubis is the combo. You press his second, the third, and then first ability to just annihilate an opponent. The only weakness to this is Shield of Thorns, Aegis Amulet or Purification Beads.

Summary

You have to single out your opponent, if they have help you might not get the kill.
Anubis is best early game though still good late game. Try not to play aggressive until you have your ability's at a decent level. Thank you for reading, and stay safe!

I love anubis personally he is my main also ( 2 star )

I am not aa good as most of you and dont know everything or all the items but....i do know anubis lol ...i personally run Bancroft Boots Talons Charions Tahuti and usually soul book then buy speed elix sell boots n grab damage item

Anyway ..one tip i can add to this entire thing is this and i swear by it 1000% ..i can always tell if an opposing Anubis is any good by the order he cast

I personally i buy hands first in conquest simply for control of enemy and range , then lv 2 i grab wrap ext ext but i always pumpmy ground attack to the max v4 anything else and only pump wrap and spray when i have no choice but its amazing because once you get 3rd item ( talons ) the lifesteal is Insane and by then your hands are strong so...when u start to get ganked or die . instead of running away just cast at your feet which will damage all that are attacking and will also steal hp iv survived many many ganks just by standing my ground...using the hands under me and wrapping j spraying ... obviously as a last resort but...i have found at almost zero health if you do this you will survive most times and hurt them so bad they either run or die and if they run...ult..." bye "
have found casting hands ( u know what i mean lol ) and then wrap is better than wrap then hands because ...like the hands for one last longer for most of the game and i found that usually if i throw hands first

Because i found they last longer than the wrap and if you throw hands at somone expecialy if they dont see you coming ...they will usually panic when the damage takes effect and will usually try to run out of the circle but due to panic they tend to run right at mr as if i somehow failed lol ...well drop the hands throw the wrap...by time wrap hits them they have already taken damage from the hands...n now are wrapped up and still in hands... obviously spray um at this point but if they sont die... because you did hands first 9x10 times they will run if not allready dead..and surprise your hands are ready

But when you throw wrap then hands not only do you lose damage because they are not in circle for as long..but you also give away your position before you ever even do any damage ...and what if you miss ? .... throw hands it hurts everyone inside...they all skatter the wrap will catch one he will get sprayed n die...his homie will try to bum rush you as tou run away... not knowing your hands charge...wrap charged....drop the hands in front of you run inside it 360 wrap n spray...ots just amazing i promise again..im no pro obviously but trust me on this one dude

Always throw hands before wrap unless your jist trying to wrap somone for a teammate

Always pump hands max first n run Bancroft boots n talons first 3 ...then dealer's choice

I prefer

Bancroft Boots ( any ) Talons Charions coin Tahuti and SOD or SOM ....again no pro but... trust

It turns anubis from a support to an offensiveonster

And you can just go lane to lane dropping bombs on enemys while they attack your team.... again im no pro yall probably 1000000 times better than me but....mt Anubis will slap you silly lol i promise.... try it

May seem unorthodox but....at lv 5 you become deadly and after you get 3rd item complete ( talons )

There is not alot they can do if you play smart
" Dodge duck dip dive and..... dodge "

... Again i suck so...what do i know

Upgrade the 1st ability as your 1st skill is way better if your opponent cannot interrupt it/hit you and the wave ate the same time.

Always do 3rd ability first personally keeps me at a distance with the low defense ...plus makes amazing support in a team lane ...and then wrap because now i can keep them away n wrap them while they take ground damage from hands but i can also use wrap to stop them when they hit lv 2 and get cocky trying to push the tower...get wrapped in a tower at lv 1 or two ..kinda hard to walk away

But if you do walk away... hands are ready and your not going far ....i buy spray last and then obviously ulty ....pump hands everytime im given the option ...i use them as a hail marry and as a last resort ( im dying were ll dying )

Drop hands underneath me if im about to die .if i have my first 3 items by then , then my lifesteal is enough to save my life and because hands are stronger than anything else ..they will hurt bad ...heal me and ya kno...so if in getting ganked regardless of how far the game is ...and i know if i run i die...then i just pretend to run...get them to chase me... soon as wrap n hands are cool down i drop hands at my feet...360... Wrap them whil there in hands ..by then spray is ready....they die

If they dont i also run blink mid game...so I can blink as they run n drop hands into tower n get the kill

I kill 2 or 3 people at a time every game just by saying screw it...stop running and stand my ground

Anubis is a POWERHOUSE if done correctly ... takes practice obviously to get aim down but...he can be amazing ...iv found he works well with kukulakan or Artimis ...for obvious reasons

You wrap a guy who is standing in your hands while kukulakan drops his ground target.....your not getting away ....if you do kukulakan will catch you slow you down and ill be right behind him wrapping you as yku start to run again...its a perfect combo

And obviously Artimis is Artimis lol... she's just a badazz in general

Anyway

ALWAYS buy hands first in conquest it gives you range while your defense is low plus it allows you to control your lane early game....noone is going to run thru that at lv 1 or 2 .. .. usually lol

My opinion anyway

And always throw hands before you wrap it hurts them n they try to run out and usually run right at you but soon as they start too... wrapped ...sprayed.....n thrown hands again

Buying first skill in conquest is iffy man...not enough range and you cant run while casting unless you cancel it .... hands however...stick n move...stick n move

Nonsense. At level 1, starting the 1 on Anubis let’s him full clear wave. 90% of the time you want to start the 1 at level 1. Then your get your 3 at level 2. Then you either put a 2nd Point into your 3 at level 3 or put your first point into your 2.

I disagree. I would always max the 3. I do usually start the 1 at level 1 though.

I'd agree, with Anubis being a dangerous pick due to lack of mobility, and with his lifesteal, he can drop his 3 and run away safely and still get health, or poke to some degree. Yes, the 1 has much higher damage potential, but it comes at the cost of rooting yourself and having a very short range. Even if you can confirm the damage by wrapping first, they might beads, or just dash away after the stun is done.

Why would you ever build Thorns on Anubis???

Also swap Gem of Iso for Tahuti or Reaver.

I think this build needs a bit more pen too. Especially against tanky comps.

I think mantle is the preferred item over urchin

Urchin is good if the game is going well, but I do use mantle a good bit too!
