Set amasses his hatred, throwing it forward. Enemies caught in its path are damaged and slowed for 3s.

Set's spawns are commanded when Set fires this attack, dashing towards a location Set determines. Enemies hit by a Spawn's dash take damage and are slowed for 3s. Any dash after the first will deal 40% damage.

2 A
Set conjures a Spawn of himself made of sand. These spawns will stand where summoned and attack nearby enemies. Set can have up to 2 charges of this ability, allowing him to conjure spawns in quick succession. Set can interact with these Spawns with his other abilities, commanding them to attack or teleporting to them. Set can only have 8 Spawns at any given time. This ability does not trigger Item effects.

If Set is targeting a spawn when this ability is cast, he will immediately teleport to the spawn. Otherwise, he can reactivate this ability to teleport. Set can only teleport once per Sandstorm.

Test builds for set

I've created these builds and only briefly tested them in theoretical situations in Jungle practice. While ingame might differ substantially, what I did test was to see how much damage you could do if an Odin bot would have 200 protection, and with the frequent crits, his Sandstorm proccing, the oddysseus bow proccing as well as the silberbranch bow giving you more power due to your passive, I ended up doing 190 damage on crits, the Qins probably shredding some of the hp as well, as well as the bow etc.

The bots of course went down in seconds, regardless of which one of them it was. I'll test both these builds when I have the possibility, but for now they're very theoretical.

They're based on Auto-attack gods such as Kali and Bakasura, which is why it might appear somewhat similiar to those at first glance.

From what I've seen, playing him ability based looks like you may do more damage

It does technically cause you get extra damage on your other 3 abilities but he becomes a bit harder to use in my opinion, since clone placement is a lot more important when you build him ability focused.

And this is why PonPon suggested early ability, late basics.

"I ended up doing 190 damage on crits" - thats not really that much lol

Even if you do that damage every 0,24 seconds? I am also adding the Odysseus bow into the mix as well as Qins. So the 190 damage is just the auto-attacks. Combined they will all do, with Qins doing % damage and Oddyseus hitting every 4th strike (every second-ish) around 130 additional damage, along with qins doing some damage every strike.

That nets to around 1500 damage per second on a 200 protection Odin, and this is excluding his 3 and his ultimate as well as his clones.

It's not the worst.

I don't think your math is correct here.

How are you doing damage every .24 seconds?

Ok, but how does the build work throughout the game? Because it’s looking pretty meh looking at the start of the build especially

I would almost ask if he was sure it was a crit and not a normal basic attack. Nornally after 1 decebt power item you already hit that kind of crits (artemis had 80 damage lvl 1 crits before the passive change i think only boots already put her on 190 crits)

Kriega1 (143) | May 2, 2019 8:42am
The 2nd build has no pen and minimal power so I wouldn't be surpised by 190 crits.

Also: "what I did test was to see how much damage you could do if an Odin bot would have 200 protection" - not really a suprise there.

"They're based on Auto-attack gods such as Kali and Bakasura, which is why it might appear somewhat similiar to those at first glance." - I have never seen any competent Kali or Bakasura build anything like this.

Melos, Kali and Baka basically always have Hastened Katana as a core item to help stick to enemies. Stone Cutting Sword is another popular item for them. These builds are really not suggested.
