If you can do it, try to weave auto-attacks between your 1 combos (right click to cancel the next part 1 - AA - 1 - AA - 1 - AA) since every ability procs Hydra's Lament.

Not really sure I would be stacking Soul Eater fifth or sixth item in Arena.

why not stacking transcendence early Kriega1? Furthermore, soul eater stacks incredibly easily since it doesn't require last hits to get the stacks. It usually gets to full stacks in about 90 seconds to 2 minutes for me. A good alternative would be shifter's shield but i find the sustain from soul eaters life steal to be more useful.

Because you don't need it and it means you have to prioritise wave clear over poke/engaging somewhat.

Two or more stacking items aren't generally recommended, but Soul Eater gets its stacks so easily, I can see grabbing it whenever. Basically you don't want to get two stacking items like Transcendence and Devourer's Gauntlet because you'll have a hell of a time stacking both.

Last item as trans would be ok. But yeah, don't stack trans early.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
