Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.

If you know this will not work against any decent competition, why are you publishing it? If you main zhong qui like you are claiming, surely you have experience with him in mid or solo, in which case you can definitely create a more viable build.
Someone (Gulf?) mentioned that the meta should absolutely be challenged because it is not perfect. Recently, someone proposed a chronos support build.

It is off meta, but the author is trying to improve the build to the point where it will be more viable against fair competition. He is defending his decisions and taking our feedback to improve his build. I want to see that kind of effort put into this before I can even think of recommending your build. For example, you are trying to support yet you get items like bancrofts talon?!
To summarize: zhong is a bad support. You are not helping that with a build unoptimized for support. Work on optimizing your build and see how far it takes you against fair competition. When you are finally matched against people who know how to play, post your games and we can give you further advice. Better yet, since you are a zhong main, write a solo/mid guide for him instead.
Honestly, since he is a zhong main, he should just do a mid/solo build instead.
ItsFadey, you can't buy runic shield on magical gods.
As Kriega said, Zhong isn't a support. He CAN function as one in casual (almost anything can probably work there depending on skill and matchup). It's clear this isn't for ranked anyway, as ItsFadey says he queues with a friend playing as
Build order is very situational and not optimal.
As Myst very, very perfectly said, Bancroft is not for when you're Supporting, if you're actually looking to Support. What you're doing here is a duo-team where both gods are going to be aggressive as a kill lane, and you're not actually fulfilling a "Support" role...you're doing squat to actually support teammates.
No offense meant, but your account is low level (you're currently listed as level 28). No matter what the Smite Guru "Elo" says, you're not playing against high-skill players yet. And you're not wrecking going 5/7/17 (1.93 KDA), 2/15/9 (0.43 KDA) and 1/10/6 (0.4 KDA) as is seen in your last 3 Zhong games.
So here. Will try to give a bit of information for the build creator.
As you get into average skill levels, Zhong is going to be a very poor choice for Support. He doesn't have nearly enough CC to fit that mold. Instead, he's most commonly seen in either Mid or Solo. Mid because general mage, and Solo because he's got self healing which is great for Soloers.
Your key items will be
In any case, this will be archived. I've provided a lot of feedback so you understand why. If you have any further questions you're welcome to inquire. If you make proper adjustments, you're welcome to republish for further consideration.
To give you an idea of what kind of players we have in our games ill give u an example...
ninety percent of junglers we get dont know to start at speed
mids dont know to help jungle at speed before running mid
sometimes players dont know what lane they go in
sometimes the opponents dont even have a jungle and instead have 2 duo lanes
the runic sheild was a mistake yes
ik the synergy dosent work as well as other hunters but this is our 2 mains from ps4
thanks for the tips tho will take into consideration
Definitely would suggest trying out my suggestions. You don't have to change your build unless you agree that those items are effective, but do strongly suggest giving them a strong chance in multiple games.
As an FYI, this build is currently archived. If you can remove the runic shield, you're welcome to republish, but understand that in terms of promoting or upvoting, it's unlikely to be rated very highly because it's very, very situational in terms of build, and only more likely to work against players that are lower skill / knowledge level.
I agree with mysterionz. Bancroft shouldn't be in a support build.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
