This isn't the worst build in the world, however it only has 10% penetration so it could definitely use with an item like Obsidian Shard.

Some other nit picks to point out are flat penetration items are currently super strong and I'd recommend getting 2 of those and skipping the Book of Thoth, makes your early game much stronger and still gives relevant damage late game.

Also if you are set on going Book of Thoth, perhaps a Book of the Dead could be a good option for you as it synergises nicely with Book of Thoth and Soul Reaver.

For reference, I would suggest trying out these 2 builds:

Sands of Time ( Pendulum of Ages) > Spear of Desolation > Spear of the Magus / Divine Ruin > Soul Reaver > Obsidian Shard > Calamitous Rod of Tahuti

Sands of Time ( Pendulum of Ages) > Book of Thoth > Spear of Desolation / Divine Ruin > Book of the Dead > Soul Reaver > Obsidian Shard

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
