Nike is a warrior who I predict will excel in the solo lane. Her abilities make her a viable counter to strong solo laners such as Bellona and Sun Wukong. Her mobility with her leap allows quite fast rotation, and her ultimate means that she can tank incredibly well. Add to this the passive, which makes the whole team stronger, and you have a very powerful goddess.
Abilities
You want to use her abilities to your advantage? You've come to the right place.
Passive
Nike has three targets for her team to achieve, and each time they achieve one the whole team gets bonus power and attack speed. The three targets are:
Eliminate 10 gods as a team
Eliminate 200 minions as a team
Have at least two of your team members on level 20
Ability 1
Her first ability is a line attack in front of her. The unaugmented version of this attack does two lines in front of her, and if augmented with her second ability does three attacks. If the two attacks of the basic ability hit an enemy, they lose protections for 5 seconds. If augmented, and all three attacks hit, the target is disarmed for a length of time depending on your ability level.
Ability 2
Her second ability is the one all her others utilise. Passively it increases your HP5, and actively it effects her other abilities.
Ability 3
A damaging leap, that knocks up enemies hit straight up. If augmented by her second ability, this ability simply happens faster.
Ability 4
This ability is insanely powerful. Whenever you use it, for ten seconds you become the ultimate tank, gaining a shield of either 40% of your max health or if augmented, 60%. In addition to this, you do damage in a massive circle around yourself and slowing enemies by either 30% or, if augmented, by 60%.
Combos
These are endless. Below are just some of the many, many combos this god allows:
2, 3, 1 - enables a rapid leap, followed up by two hits of damage that can remove protections.
3, 2, 1 - a less rapid leap, followed by high damage and possibly a disarm.
3, 2, 4, 1 - jump in, augment your ult, do tonnes of damage and finish with a double damaging line attack.
2, 1 - your general lane clearing move, also forcing enemies back. An augment followed by three line attacks.
Nike has the potential to excel in various game modes, from joust to arena. Here are some tips for the various game modes.
Conquest
Nike would generally be played in the solo (short outer) lane in Conquest. However, she does have the potential to be played in the support role, due to her disarm, leap, and reduction. Whichever position you play Nike in, you will be wanting to clesr your lane with your combination of your first and second moves, and bully enemies with your leap. Your Ultimate can allow large tower/phoenix diving potential, and can also vastly help your team in team fights. Your passive effects the whole team, so make sure your teammates are aware as to how it works.
Joust
Largely the same as Conquest, but you may be required to bully the enemy tesm more, in the same way Bellona would, particularly focusing on any enemy Hunters.
Arena
Positioning is always important, but especially in this game mode. Try to flank the enemy team, and put any high damage Hunters or Mages out of the fight as fast as possible.
Clash
Try to rotate lanes regularly, and help to clear jungle camps. Use your presence in lane to push enemies back, and use your Ultimate to help push towers and phoenixes.
Siege
You should, using your Ultimate, be able to take the Siege Juggernaut on your own, and even without it have a good go. Threaten ranged enemy gods with your disarm and jump, and rotate regularly.
