Notes I do not recommend getting Tainted Steel as a support, because unlike the other items that help you stay in the battle longer, tainted just gives off anti-heal. It is not worth to get in my opinion.

Artio's Skill Order Notes The reason I upgrade Energy Surge first but max it last is because it helps me clear the Purple jungle camp faster than most guardians do, but the support's job is to protect the team. Not doing damage is the con of a support. I upgrade abilities that support my teamates first. Life Tap brings me heal=Sustain and more slow on Heavy Charge. Entangling Vines is my preference for the next upgrade for no specific reason so you could replace that with Energy Surge

Introduction

Introduction

Artio is known as The Bear Goddess in smite and has been presented into smite as from Celtic religion.

She is identified as a guardian and deals magic damage.

Artio auto attacks as a Melee Goddess.

Artio is referred to as an ability based goddess.

Artio switches between two stances, Bear and Human

This guide will be explaining the basics of Artio, Pros/Cons, Playstyles, and more!

Abilities

Abilities

Enemy gods hit by Artio's Druid or Bear damaging abilities will begin to decompose. This effect decreases their Physical and Magical Protections. This effect stacks.

Max Stacks: 8

Early/Mid/Late (Support)

Early

In the early game you want to focus on getting as much gold as you can (Of course) then once you get enough EXP to advance to level 5-6, you could rotate to mid to give your ADC more exp.

Mid

In the mid game, your main goal should be gaining stacks for your Gauntlet of Thebes. But if you are like me and like ganking lanes nonstop, you could try your luck on helping Solo/Mid/Carry out. This phase of the game is also where my play styles start.

Late

Once you reach lategame, you should abandon your Playstyles I told about and start doing what any other support would do. That of course is being the frontline tank and relying on your Solo laner to peel enemies off the squishes.

Playstyles (Support)

Playstyle

As a support, your main priority should obviously be protecting your team. However different playstyles can provide a benefit at different situations.

The Mid Lane Camper

This playstyle revolves around sitting in Mid lane helping out your Mid laner while rotating when needed. This playstyle gets you a lot more EXP than the other playstyles and is typically very safe to do.

The Patrol Dog

This playstyle revolves around you visiting each lane regularly and causing trouble. The playstyle doesn't get you much exp but may help out your teamates.

Scumbag Invader

This playstyle is the riskiest playstyle of them all as it revolves around you invading buffs. Have an accurate timer of when the enemy buffs spawns and invade them. It is very annoying for the other team but helps out your team alot. Try not to die.

The Annoying Troll

Sometimes you may get bored and want to have a little fun. This playstyle will revolve around you visiting an enemy and then spamming every crowd control effect you have in your kit. (Laugh Spam if you can). This has almost no benefit (Other than the fact that you might waste the enemy's time.)

Solo Laner

if you chose Artio for the solo lane role then you should be just like any other solo laner and feed the living sh** out of yourself then rotate during mid game.
