Notes A big problem with Mulan is not her damage or clear, it's actually her survivability early on. Hence why we purchase Warrior's Axe. Chalice/pots for sustain. Blink for aggression, beads for safety.

Notes Warrior Tabi will increase your power in lane and give mobility to chase or evade. This is the best option for Mulan because you want to abuse her early pressure while maintaining safety with you Warrior's Axe. Pots for sustain or wards for vision/safety.

Defense(Phys Solo)

Notes Pridwin will give you a shield once your ult is finished casting. This is good since your ult makes you very vulnerable. It also gives you all prots and CDR.
Oni Hunter's Garb is your magical defense but it's passive gives you 15% damage mitigation once fully stacked, which will be pretty easy once you blink ult the whole enemy team. The stats are nice as well with some health and CCR.

Caduceus Shield and Sould Eater go hand in hand so if you want one I suggest also buying the other. Cad increases healing from you and your team. Soul Eater allows you to heal from your abilities, this is amplified by Cad Shield.

Great build so far. Played a ditto with it and it wasn't even close, and the jungler couldn't ever finish me off. Team fights were strong too, even though my team was down the jungler.

That’s great man. I’m glad it’s working out for you. If there’s any questions you have for me or something let me know. And as Big Damage let you know, there are other items to try and I put some of those in the “Other Items to Consider” section, but he should know that by now! Silly guy. Anyway, he’s right, most of the time you don’t want the same build unless it’s ALWAYS working. Go ahead and try swapping a few things out for items that you definitely need. But thank you so much for commenting.

Because Mulan has really high base damage and poor scaling, there are definitely better item options than some that are here.

You want items that give damage bonuses for hitting abilities, such as; Bluestone Pendant and Gladiator's Shield(listed). Maybe some penetration for that physical base damage to hit harder like Void Shield. Heartseeker falls into both of these categories and is a nice item if you need more damage, but isn't necessary.

Other than those hybrid items Mulan needs to be full tank. Items like Reinforced Greaves, Genji's Guard, Bulwark of Hope, Mantle of Discord, etc. should fill the build. There isn't any point building power on a god that doesn't scale it very well.

Is the build overall bad? No of course not, otherwise you wouldn't have done well in your game but maybe try swapping some items around and see how it works out for you.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
