hey guys this is my first guide on smite fire so please only positive feedback
Loki is one of the most amazing gods to play with if built and used correctly.
Loki's damage output can easily destroy any non-tank gods in the game.
This build has worked for me many times my usual score is 24-2-? the key is to know when to not engage in fights.
With Loki there are many successful builds that i have seen but the one that works the best with me is this one
Starting Items:
- Meditation: is a must with Loki due to the fact that Loki uses alot of mana in early laning stages and meditation lets you use you 2 (Decoy) and your 1 (Disappear) more freely for escapes and chase downs
- 4 Health potions: these 4 health potions are for early game survival, the main thing to remember is to only use them when you are below half health this saves you wasting them
- 1st tier of Warrior Tabi boots
1st return to base for items:
I do not reccomened b'ing or teleporting back to base before lvl 8 because it will cost you many lvls and your ultimate if you do.
- Finish Warrior Tabi
- Start on Frost-bound Hammour: Frost-bound Hammour is an ammazing item to have for loki simply because it slows with basic attack and if they are running from you then you are hitting them frim behind and also using your passive (Behind You!!) which does extra damage if attacking in the back
- If you can afford it then Start on your Executioner: I love Executioner because it lowers your enemy physical protection it works really well with Frost-bound Hammour because the 1st hit slows and also lowers protection so that you can really go to work on people from behind.
2nd return to base:
- Finish Frost-bound and Executioner
- Start on Qins Blades: This item is perfect for Loki because it gives you attack speed and also more physical damage and when complete a lovely chance on hit extra damage that works amazingly against tanks and high health targets.
3rd return to base:
By this time it will be 20-25 minutes into the game and you can start to see what kind of builds the enemy team has. If you need to B more often due to taking alot of damage from enemy players then the next item suggest is:
- Devourers gloves: this item is perfect for Loki because it gives you more physical damage and life steal and when complete builds stacks for more damage and life steal
If you are coping with the damage and don't need life steal then get:
- Death Bringer: I know people usually like this item earlier in the build but it is useless if you cant get more hits off faster so i have found it more effective with more attack speed behind it to really drive the damage in. Death Bringer is the best item for Loki because of the Critical Hit Damage and also the Physical power increase.
- Devourers Gloves: I usually find that the game has ended before i have time to get this item but it is one of the best survivabilty items in the game for a physical damage dealer. (If you wish to jungle with Loki then swap this for Executioner)
The skills are the most important part for a successful Loki game
Level 5 is the time for Loki to shine, now that you have your ultimate you can really go to work on low health and physical protection gods, this is what you do:
- Activate you 1 (Disappear)
- Then Activate your 3 (Armed Strike)
- Then Jump to your target with your 4/ultimate (Assassinate)
By this time the enemy is usually dead but if not activate your 2 (Decoy) to get the minions off you and chase down with your 1 (Disappear) and chase them down
(Tip: DO NOT BE SCARED TO USE YOUR DECOY!!! Your decoy is one of the more perfect laning abilities with an Ao, Anubis, Ymir, Thor, Ares, Ra, etc. Loki can really help them clear waves and gain levels faster)
PROS:
- Great damage output
- 2 Escape abilities
- Good lane clearer
CONS:
- Weak early
- Ultimate is the main escape ability
- If not got a few kills early then can really be hard to get back in the game

First of all, starting off with meditation is not needed at all. Just get mana pots, Meditation heals all your mana instantly but your mana pool is so low, a pot will too. Also you should always be getting blue buff when you can, so get hand of the god instead so you can get red and other good buffs. Basically meditation is a waste of money and a waste of an ability slot needed for more important things.
Start with hand of the gods, tier 1 boots and i believe 2 of each pot. Get blue and spam abilities all you want. Or you can just be conservative and not waste your mana.
Take out frostbound hammer, period. It's expensive, and you need to bet getting much more important items. Creeping curse is much better.
Lastly, suggesting to get a stack building item last is the worst suggestion you can give. You have no time to get stacks and farm. what's the point? It's a waste of money or a waste of time, when you should be helping your team in fights.
I suggest this build.
Start with
Then without finishing boots, start getting
Also, take 2 escapes out of the pros. He only technically has 2 sub-par escapes, one of them using his ultimate that he would need for damage (really hurting him in the damage later) and vanish is a very soft, easy to get around escape. Bad escape options is a con of his, and should be added.
I hope I helped you out. Good luck.
