I'd start with Spellbook and Mage's Blessing because of the nerf to Book of Souls. Also, isn't Backfire usually picked up first?

Inferno Cannon is picked first because you can leave the turret at speed, return to base and go straight to lane.

I'd start with Book of Souls instead. Especially if im not playing someone like Thoth where Mage's Blessing is pretty important for clear and mana sustain.

No, Backfire is not picked up first. At level 1: Place your turret at speed buff camp, go straight to mid lane, wait for the minions, auto-attack them and then place your turret after speed buff camp has been cleared.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
