Gilgamesh's Skill Order Notes You could make a case for upgrading Winds of Shamash before Hero's Advance Adding to the slow duration would be nice, but I think Hero's Advance will serve us better with the added movement speed, to help us get around!

How To Gilgamesh

Make sure you check out the 'notes' on each build, and on the level order! Lots of good information there. Anyways, on to the guide:

Gilgamesh has finally made his way to Smite. It is now our jobs to show why he is the truly dominant demi-god. We know that Gilgamesh is going to see a lot of play time in the solo lane, however the support presence he brings to the battle grounds is insane!

Looking at the full combo in a team fight, Gilgamesh would use his Hero's Advance, or Blink Rune to initiate a fight, followed by his Winds of Shamash to keep players trapped inside his circle. Using his ultimate to his advantage your job now is to keep them in the circle by means of either auto attacking them so they are not able to leave the circle since they will be thrown back in. You can also use your Drop Kick to bounce a player off the walls of the Winds of Shamash You can also use your Sun-Forged Scimitar to slow all players around you. Gilgamesh has a lot of control over the fight with his heavy CC.

Gilgamesh passive sends us on a quest to a target location on the map, so solo laners this might be a longer walk, and out of the way, however for us support players, we are already roaming, so we might as well take advantage of that!

When we are laning we are going to be looking to play aggressive. Gilgamesh is not a back line baby sitter, we want to fight, and we want to win. Using your slow from Sun-Forged Scimitar Can cause the enemy to have to burn their beads to get away from you, or take unwanted poke from you, and your ADC. Fear not though, if they end up burning their beads, you've won the trade, if they use their escape to get some distance we can use Hero's Advance to catch up to them, and follow that up with a Drop Kick either back at your ADC , or at the closest wall stunning the enemy, and giving your ADC time to catch up and kill.

Gilgamesh is a fighter. Once we have our boots, we are ready to roam. Look for every opportunity to steal farm, or rotate and gank lanes. You have great pressure, and initiation with your Hero's Advance use this. look for Mana Buff Holder invades.

Be sure that you remember that Gilgamesh does not have any cc immunity in his kit, he might be part god, but he is still part human. If the enemy team has heavy CC, you will need to purchase Purification Beads You do not need to purchase Blink Rune much like Fenrir support your initiation is your leap. However you can still find good plays using Blink Rune into Drop Kick so I will not fault you for going that direction.

How do I implement anti heal into the build?

Usually supps don’t pick up anti heal, but you can switch winged blade out for your respected anti heal item!

Maybe one other option would be to drop Winged, push Pridwen up earlier, and then grab Contagion, Pestilence, or BBS. (rather than just sub in anti-heal at the Winged location in your build) If you're able to continually be a threat, and you don't have another teammate that picked up BBS, then the offensive item would be an option for you since you can easily apply the anti-heal effect to multiple enemies.

But yeah, usually you leave anti-heal to the mage, jungler, and solo because the standard support anti-heal items are somewhat weaker than the offensive item effects.
