Hello,
This is my first guide. It won't be the last....
I have diamond ***bha, I play him in many roles with this build.
Yes some people get mad when they see you building damage on a Guardian, but trust me. I have tested this build out and every time I go positive kills over deaths. best match was
17/1/11 in Clash
14/2/11 as jungler in Conquest
11/5/17 as support in Conquest
Pros:
Kinda already tanky
people under estimate him
has great CC
Very strong
Cons:
Not too many here
movement is slow to catch an enemy
Items and why I choose them.....
First Item. The reason I go with Focus over Magi is your only losing 5 power damage and 10 penetration. But your getting 10% cooldown, along with an extra 250 mana... which in my opinion out ways the 5 damage and 10 penetration you get from "Shoes of the Magi".
Second and Third ItemsThis is where I start building some Cooldowns.... With ***bha you want to get your CD as quickly as possible, because with him your abilities is where your power comes from. Chrono's pendant comes with that nice 20% cooldown, along with 60 power and +25 MP5. Where Spear of desolation comes 80 power 20 penetration and again another 10% cooldown. which now puts you at the maximum 40% CD.
Fourth Item.Soul Reaver gives you another 100 power along with 300 mana. which is very important when using a God that is mana hungry due to depending on abilities. I don't go with "book of Thoth" because 1 it takes too long to stack, and "soul Reaver" has a great passive. (10% additional TRUE DAMAGE from abilities)
Fifth Item.Obsidian Shard gives you another 60 power and a passive which gives you 33% penetration from your abilities, which is huge in my opinion.
Last Item depends on the situation.Use Divine Ruin if you're up against enemy healer(s)Use Gem of Isolation when up against an enemy with movement speed. My personal build is usually Ethereal Staff due to 90 power, 200 health and 5% bonus damage.
Ability Sequence:+++.......
This is the usual sequence I use, and 90% of the time they die. You can use throw back into minions hurting them first, then follow thru with above sequence, by the time the fall from uppercut, your throw back will be ready again.
You also do not need to use mighty yawn sundering spear, I use it to stun them to guarantee I get my uppercut to make contact, be aware of the enemy you are fighting, if they have beads or not, that is also how you decide whether or not to use yawn before or after....

Yes, he has a ton of burst, followed by a ton of control...but his damage is more determined by his base damage, rather than scaling...his scaling is mediocre at best. This means pen is just going to give you more bang for the buck.
This probably is a great pubstomp build, and with minor tweaks might be an interesting Jungle build, but as Support...I just couldn't do it.
Other thoughts... Chronos' Pendant is built way too early, if it should be built on him at all (I wouldn't). 2,900 gold will set you so far back as item #2. If you do go aggressive, I'd do Spear of Desolation 2nd then...but delay Chronos (or not get it at all).
Soul Reaver is also very expensive at item #4. It works if you're fed...but 2,950 gold...so expensive...that's Rod of Tahuti territory.
In any case, I'll restate that I'm not arguing with your results, but think that if people are paying attention, the build would make them focus you quickly. No protections and almost no added health make you very squishy when facing burst damage.
