Still a little new to the game and understanding items but can you explain why is poly better than bancrofts?? I’m not sure when it’ll proc poly or if I’m just doing something wrong

I never said Poly is better than Bancrofts. Both have different functions in separate build types . Poly caters to quick burst damage and Bancrofts caters to higher consistent Auto attack damage.

applies its passive whenever you make a basic attack after using an ability, which is what does with her aurora blade when she toggles it on. is more for gods that have to get in close to do their damage and need some type of sustain like or . Gods with escapes or ranged damage shouldn't get talon, they should get something else instead.

I don't know that I would consider Sol's ability a true escape. Since it has a long delay before she gets the immunity, it's not like an immediate leap or anything. And we know that Bancroft's definitely works well for .

You can Aegis before the immunity starts. I mentioned it as an example on to prove the flaw in Gulf's statement.

I'd agree that Bancroft's shouldn't be limited just to gods with no escape.

And yeah, you can Aegis before the immunity starts, but an "escape" that involves the use of a relic to make it more of a true escape isn't much of an escape to me. Or at least, by the definition in my head, I'm referring to a dash, leap, teleport, etc....something that immediately allows for separation.

Negative. Aurora Blade is a basic attack toggle, and does not count as a normal ability. Dude...you could absolutely abuse Poly every 3 seconds if you could just toggle back and forth between melee and ranged.

is used specifically for synergy with Northern Lights in a high power build, since Poly's passive damage scales with power. Specifically, it's good when paired with .

is still a preferred item of mine, when considering more of an ADC boxer rather than burst damage. If you're going the 3 rings build (Demonic, Hastened, Telk), Bancroft's is great for keeping your health up.
