Cerberus's snake tail spits venom that passes through and damages Enemies. If Cerberus's dog heads are Alert, they then also spit venom when the ability is fired. Each head is alerted upon hitting an Enemy with a Basic Attack, and all are alerted after Ghastly Breath. Each projectile that hits the same target deals 20% less damage, but hitting an Enemy with all 4 Stuns them.

Enemies in the center of his breath are also Slowed up to three times. This attack immediately puts all three of Cerberus's heads on Alert for Paralyzing Spit.

Cerberus's haunting wail summons below him the souls of the damned, which then lift all Enemy Gods into the air while stretching the link between their bodies and souls, Damaging them. This knockup can be cleansed. A short time later, Cerberus uses this link to pull the Enemies to him. This attack immediately puts all three of Cerberus's heads on Alert for Paralyzing Spit.

I'm Nyxfulloftricks and here is a quick guide for a Cerberus Support who wants to play more attack dog than guard dog.

I'll give a few pros and cons as well as where this good pupper shines.

Pros / Cons

Pros

Early damage potential is high with ability to get a lot of kills and dominate duo lane.
This can lead to you leaving lane to help mid much earlier.
Also great for invading enemy red when you have wave pressure up.

Cons
You won't be the tankiest boy, so you have to be careful for high damage matchups early and bait abilities before you attack in.

Paralyzing Spit

is a line shot that fires venom from 's snake tail and if alert his three heads. If an enemy takes a shot from all three heads and tail they are stunned. This is a very hard stun to hit, but is great in combination with Ghastly Breath. Whether in duo or solo, this ability is great for clearing wave quickly. Use in combination with ghastly breath to clear jungle camps with ease.

is an ult with great cc power. wails summoning souls of the damned which will knockup all Enemy gods damaging them. This knockup also creates a link to Cerberus pulling the gods affected towards him. This ability can be a great setup for Allies, or at least rip beads off Enemy gods. It is also a great way to rip an enemy team away from Fire Giant allowing your team to secure it. To do this blink in the circle use your ult and then leap out with .

Why is Jade Emperor's Crown core?

I chose Jade emperor's crown because it's a great early item to protect from minion wave and hunter while focusing hunter.

But why prioritise it for that when serves that purpose? Also by the time you get that item online, aren't you meant to be rotating over to mid lane or in the jungle between Mid and Duo? (if gold fury area or mid harpies are contested)

Sov serves that purpose, and although I think Jade can be useful in some situations, I wouldn't consider it core.

Cerb has some damage potential, and if you've got a favorable matchup (no enemy stuns, your ADC has a stronger early game), I can see this working over Sov. He also has some healing in his kit, so you perhaps need the HP5 a bit less than some other supports.

But again, I'd consider it a flex pick. Sov in unfavorable matchups, Jade if you can be more aggressive.

Yes I agree that other items serve the same protections purpose, but Jade is core for this build as it is meant to be a more aggressive one. Absolutely it can be delayed or switched based on matchup.

I think right after shoes would be a better option for aggressive play; you could then either build or depending upon your needs.

The rotation is actually a very good point.

Yes, rotations are important, I feel with the extra power provided from over it is easier to steal enemy jungle camps for my rotation which is my preferred play style.

That's what I would like to know too. Also, where is ? It has good health, HP5 and dual protections when upgraded; I'd drop urchin for it personally.

I personally just prefer more power and protections than health items which is why is listed as an alternative item for people who want to play more tank and less aggressive damage.

You do know Thebes gives 60 of each protections when it's stacked right?

Yes I am aware. I prefer the power combined with protections or just power, as I am going for a more aggressive build. Again why is listed as an alternative item as it is not my preference but I see its value.

Also I just wanted to mention that your "final build example" has 40% CDR which is a bit of a problem when gives 10% CDR.

I would probably swap out the because that item isn't in a very good state right now, it's pretty much main usefulness would be on a mid lane mage to deal with a magical mid or magical jungler that hasn't built obsidian shard yet. I would probably trade it out for some for a defense item that has quite a bit of health like , especially seeing as this build doesen't have much health. Or alternatively or .

Personally, although Kriega has a point, I honestly don't see a huge issue building up to 40% CDR through items, as long as those items serve a good purpose in the build that's not just for getting the CDR. Having a guaranteed 40% without the need to spend 500 gold isn't bad, especially for a Support.
