Items

Starting of with Shoes of Focus will give you a boost in damage speed and cool-down.

Cabrakan's 3rd ability allows you to take down your opponent's minions fairly easily. Having the Book of Thoth is useful for many reasons.
1. Converts 3% of your total mana to MP
2. Gives you a sufficient amount of MP
3. Gives you a better mana regeneration.

When playing with other mages or in arena, the Pythagorem's Piece is helpful.
1. The passive is useful for you magical teammates.
2. Gives you a really good amount of mana (pairs with Book of Thoth).
3. Gives you life steal and sufficient amount of MP.

Mystic Mail is a good way to up your defense.
1. The passive is really neat.
2. Gives you a a lot of health.
3. 60% physical protection is pretty good.

Ethereal Staff is a really sweet item especially if you have items that give you health.
1. Since it gives you both a large amount of Mana and Health it is really useful for tanks.
2. This pairs really well with the Book of Thoth.
3. The Ethereal Staff and Mystic Mail combined is good (because of this item's passive).

You could choose either the Bulwark's Hope or Armored Cloak. If you choose Bulwark's Hope you have a great amount of health as well as a good amount of MD. If you choose the Armored Cloak you get a bonus of health and mana. It also gives you a bit of MD and PD.

Skills

Cabrakan's passive is called Shadow zone. Allies near Cabrakan will take 5% reduced damage.
This passive is really unique. It makes Cabrakan a really good support.

1. Seismic Crush
Cabrakan becomes enraged, increasing his movement speed. While active, Cabrakan's next successful basic attack will stun and do bonus damage. Additionally, Cabrakan is immune to slows and roots while this ability is active.
This is really useful for initiating fights. You would want to use Seismic Crush before using Tremors.

2. Refraction Shields
This ability has a passive. As Cabrakan's shields take damage, you again protection stacks. When using the abilities at max stacks, Refraction shields will stun anybody in range.

3. Tremors
This a really powerful ability. Cabrakan repeatedly slams the ground with his shields creating an earthquake and causing enemies around him to tremble. This ability also slowly sucks in players towards Cabrakan. This ability actually does a ridiculous amount of damage.

4. Tectonic Shift
Cabrakan's Ultimate smashes into the ground creating a line of destruction. At the end of line there is a wall. For the gods that don't have the ability to leap over the obstacle, it will be almost an instant death. The walls however are able to be destroyed.

Creeping / Jungling

Cabrakan can jungle, but not until late game.

Timing is really important. Wait for the right moment.

To initiate, use Seismic Crush to stun and do additional damage. Then use Refraction Shields for the damage. At this point he will try to run away. Use Tectonic Shift to block him off and then use Tremors right away. If he gets out chase him while using Seismic Crush (immune to slows and roots).

Pros / Cons

PRO:

Cabrakan has a really high defense.
With all the stacks he can become extremely powerful.
His passive makes him the ideal guardian.

CONS:
Cabrakan, when not using Seismic Crush, can be a bit slow.
His normal basic attack isn't too strong

Team Work

In team battles, your allies should stay near you or get ready to be near you. Your passive grants them the additional protection.

To start the battle, rush in with a Seismic Crush by yourself. It will stun the enemy and make the attention of the enemy's teammates focus on you. Try to get all of them chasing you. Once they are in a clump, Blink into the middle of the clump and use Tremors. After getting your stacks up, use Refraction Shields to stun them. Sprint towards your hiding teammates. With all the damage done, your team will easily pick them off one by one.

In Arena, start of using Tectonic Shift to trap at least two gods. Run up to them with Seismic Shield and stun them. After stunning them, go ahead and use Tremors. At this point the attention will be towards you. The enemy's teammates will try to save the two. After taking down the two gods, quickly use Seismic Crush to hit the nearest enemy god. After doing so use Refraction shields and if possible another Tremors. At this point, your allies will kill the badly injured god.

I see you use Book of Thoth instead of Book of Thoth or you can manage that by .Book of Thoth and [.icon=Book of Thoth size=50] just remove dots. BTW Nice guide! 1+ed

this guide misses some things and also Armored Cloak is the tier 2 of Hide of the Urchin. This guide misses a gameplay tab but the other things are there.

IMO if you are playing support you ca better go with a support build instead of a damage build. this will benefit your team more especcially because Cabrakan has really low health
