Where's your percentage pen? You're not likely to be doing much damage against tankier targets with just 10 flat pen. Sure you can zip around the map, but you'll be about as effective as a mosquito late-game.

Most percentage pen items at the moment are rather lackluster making this insane build possible.

How so? is still pretty strong, giving you 30% pen on your first ability every 10 seconds; has 10% pen as well as extra lifesteal for your team (I would recommend it over ); then there's , which helps you double cast your root for follow up. isn't a bad item, but it's too little, too late. It should be your first item after shoes and not the 6th.

As for your comment, any build is possible, but that doesn't mean they're viable. It's quite possible for me to build this on , but that doesn't mean it's a viable build for her. Given your lack of explanation as to why you chose the items you did, this just looks like another troll build where one builds movement speed and hopes for the best.

Just for reference Gulf, Coin is the favoured 20% pen item for mages in current meta (especially in Pendulum builds). Next patch it's going to be even more prioritised.

I can understand why in Pendulum builds and when it's buffed next patch, but why other than those 2 instances?

Also if building into Tahuti but you didn't have enough gold for Tahuti on a back you could just get Coin and delay Tahuti for later.

I don't know to post images or item links yet. But the most picked mage item in SPL atm is spear of desolation with 63%. Obsidian shard has a pick rate of 13%, Staff of Myrddin is only 4%. The only good %pen item at the moment is Rod of tahuti. Which i had no room for in this build. This build is also not made to kill the support or solo late game. It's meant to be able to pick off out of position squishies.

Yes, but it looks like was bought 75% of the time and that item has %pen. So your statement about %pen items being lackluster doesn't make sense.

Keep in mind this is just within 1 week of SPL games, but yes, Deso has been very popular for a while now and slightly OP, which is why it got a minor nerf in patch 8.4 Bonus Update. Agreed though with Gulf's point that it is usually picked up pretty early usually, not late.

That said, picking off out-of-position squishies as a mage means you're looking to stomp in lower level games, and so it's still a bit trollish of a build and not for use in all situations.

I mean, the obvious troll aspect of this build is movement speed. If they weren't so short-sighted, they would see that there's a % pen item that fits PERFECTLY into dipping more deeply into the MS soft cap...!

Yeah, I mean obviously its a **** post guide, BUT its cool. I would fix the title though.

"Baron Is late to the party" the i in is, is capital, it either needs to be lowercase, or the entire title needs to be Capitalized.
