Summary

Hi and welcome to my first guide.

Not all gamers are coding machines with profound or semi-profound IT knowledge. This guide will probably not please your eyes that much but it will help you understand Awilix and how I play her. Please note that is is only my opinion, the combination of skills, items and the way I play her. It works for me and it might work for you. I'm all for constructive remarks. But please leave the flaming and *****ing aside just cuz I don't give a f*ck!

My reasoning is simple: Awilix has a very powerful combo. The combo is this. You're in the jungle, farming minions (building stacks for your transcendence as an example). Use your 1 to leap on an enemy which, right off the bat, does some good damage to engage and count as your first strike towards your bonus for your 2. Then, use your AA once to make the big purple circle appears on your target (your third attack, for more info read your 2) and then use your 2 to do two things, do some CRAZY damage on your target including AOE in the purple circle, and second get BEHIND your target. Now that's the key to her combo and the key to this build. When you are in the air, in the process of getting behind your target, cast your 3. If cast properly, it will lift your target in the air while they are facing you, making your ult an easy win. Cast it when you see the white target on him/her. That's the reason why I build CDR and Mana, to overuse this sick combo. That's the reason why I level her 3 last too, because I mostly use it to "lift" gods and not really to clear lanes or anything else. That's just how I do it. I clear lanes with the AOE given by my 2.

Here's a recap : Jump in with your 1, AA once, use your 2, 3 while mid-air and then ult. Try it, you'll love it.

Items

Death's Toll and HoG 2 in the beginning allows you to farm two jungle camps (I usually go steal their red on the left and then do left speed), with or without any help (thanks to starter regen) and maybe get a kill when returning to lane to gank. Even without your ult, your 2 does enough damage to kill someone, even early game. I use HoG 2 to farm jungle camps faster (60 sec CD instead of 90 for rank 1 or 3).

I know, I don't grab any pots. Again, feel free to adjust depending on your needs.

Transcendence - For the Mana, and the good AD early game

Ninja Tabi - Over warrior because we get Pen later on 2 items, 3 including titan's bane. Take the CDR on Ninja Tabi for now.

Jotunn's Wrath - For the CDR, the mana (AD because of Transcendence) and the Pen.

ASI - For the 30% attack speed on 1 item, the bit of lifesteal and the Pen.

Deathbringer - Gimme them crits!

Last item is a free slot, take whatever you need, some phys def, magical def, titan's bane, more crit, a bloodforge, anything that you feel you lack at this point will be good. I take titan's bane for the structures.

So in the end, you have crazy mana and CDR so you can combo all over their faces, you have decent attack speed, pen and power and you have some lifesteal.

Voluntarily, I'm not covering any active since they are mostly situational items IMHO. I never take the same actives, it depends on my mood, my enemy(ies), my ally(ies) and their level of skill too.

Conclusion

Please understand that i'm not a pro by any extent and I don't mean to sound like one. I'm not a noob either, i'm mastery 61 and have a couple of Legendaries and stuff. I'm open to critics and comments as long as it's not *****ing for *****ing. See you in game fellas!

Peace :)

If you went with Hydra's Lament instead of Transcendence, you wouldn't need the CDR boots, need to build stacks (and sacrifice attack damage early game) for Transcendence, and you would get a great passive that works into your combo. This would sacrifice mana, but considering that Awilix is a highly mobile god, returning to base isn't that big of a deal. Aside from that, good guide. Helpful and to the point.
