This is a build for Artemis that brings out the best in her and her passive! I'm PolluxLegend and keeping crit hitting.
-Can mid lane
-High Damage output
-Very mobile ranged
-2 Stun abilities
-Can be mana-hungry
-No real escaping abilities
Artemis gains a 5% critical strike chance buff on each successful hit within 4 seconds. Her passive has a maximum of 3 stacks.
This is the core of the build and stacks nicely with the Rage stacks.
Transgressors Fate Transgressors Fate(1)
Artemis places up to 3 traps that additionally act as wards. Enemy gods coming within 5 feet of her traps activate them, rooting the enemy god and doing 25/40/55/70/85 (+30% of your physical power) physical damage every second for 1.5s, increasing with Focus up to 3s.
Cost - 60/65/70/75/80 mana.
Cooldown - 18/16/14/12/10s.
This is only really useful for being a ward or for fleeing, so I take it last in my build.
Artemis attacks at a furious pace, increasing her attack speed by 35/45/55/65/75% for 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds.
Cost - 70/75/80/85/90 mana.
Cooldown - 18/17/16/15/14s.
This is really good for getting in that last critical hit or dishing out more damage against a turret or tank, also it replaces the need to focus on attack speed. I take this second.
Suppress The Insolent(3)
Artemis fires a volley into a ground target, suppressing all of her enemies. Enemies caught within the volley are damaged for 90/155/220/285/350 physical damage (+30% of your physical power) and are slowed by 15%, increasing with Focus up to 25% for 1s, increasing with Focus up to 2s.
Cost - 70/80/90/100/110 mana.
Cooldown - 10s
This is the ultimate tool in lane. You can use it to quickly take out dense enemy minions, harass enemy gods, kill a fleeing god, or combo it with your Transgressors fate to take out trapped enemies. I take this skill first.
Artemis summons the great Calydonian Boar to wreak havoc on her enemies, doing 150/225/300/375/450 (+100% of your physical power) physical damage to the nearest enemy god and stunning them for 1s, increasing with Focus up to 2s. The boar continues to charge other gods for 6s. Artemis is also immune to crowd control for 3s.
Cost - 80/90/100/110/120 mana.
Cooldown - 90s
This ability is great for ganking mid-health enemies who are playing passive/defensive and won't recall. Also it is great at taking out recalling enemies because of the long radius. It stops them from attacking you and you are immune to crowd control. I would take this when you can.
The Warrior Tabi is a very important item on the build because it gives a starting amount of 6% critical chance and is very important for movement speed and physical power.
Devourer's Gloves Devourer's Gloves
Devourer's Gloves are very useful for getting extra physical damage and plus 10% lifesteal.
Brawler's Beat Stick
The Brawler's Beat Stick provides to things that help this build greatly, critical strike chance and lifesteal. Also it provides an additional 150 health so it is a nice item to grab.
The Golden Bow is a very nice item to pick up. It provides physical power, movement speed, and most importantly critical strike chance.
Rage is an amazing item, not only does it provide and additional 30% critical chance it also provides a passive that increases more if you don't critical strike.
The Deathbringer is the most important item in this build. It provides 20% critical strike chance, but the most important part is its passive which provides 50% additional critical strike damage.
