Skills and Skill Tips

1- Kiss: a stun that lasts 1 second and increases the damage of your soulmate by a scaling amount. If the Kiss hits an ally they become Aphrodite's Soul Mate, 30% of mana gained by Aphrodite is transferred to her soulmate.

Also this skill increases Aphrodite's movement speed by a scaling amount. Having this skill at high level if your carry does not have an escape is a great idea. For example if you are supporting Artemis, who does not have an escape.

Kiss is a slow moving ability, leading your target by a decent amount is necessary. Practise this because it may take a bit to learn the precise amount.

This skill does not travel through walls.



2- Back Off: a blast of energy is pulsed out from Aphrodite knocking back enemies away from her, if connected to someone, the blast originates from them, knocking back enemies from them.

If you are support a melee god this skill is very helpful to lower enemies HP to help kill them. Eg: if you are supporting Loki and he ults then you should use this ability as soon as he lands his ult, this way you deal damage to lower their health and have a lower chance of taking the kill.



3- Love Birds: Aphrodite summons her love birds to deal damage-over-time to enemies and healing-over-time to herself and her soulmate. This skill is very useful to sustain in lane and clear minion waves.

The more Magical Power Aphrodite has the more HP she will heal. As goes for all healers.

The birds do go through walls, however they are very slow moving compared to other skills, learning the amount you have to lead by to hit enemy will take practise.

Having Gem Of Isolation is good because this sill will slow enemies every tick of damage it deals.



4- Undying Love: Aphrodite and her soul mate become invulnerable for 0.8/1.1/1.4/1.7/2 seconds, during this time both Aphrodite and her soulmate are immune and cleansed of any CC and damage. This is basically a moving Aegis Amulet.

Aphrodite can cast this ultimate while cc'ed. (Ne zha ult not included, cannot use during this)

ALL DAMAGE IS NEGATED, the enemy could use all of their ultimates on her and she would walk away untouched.

Other Handy Tips/information

MOST ITEMS ARE SITUATIONAL, COUNTER-BUILDING IS ESSENTIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Aphrodite has a very difficult to beat sustain in lane, so getting a decent defence plus Magical Power will have you owning your lane in no time. Aphrodite's Passive gives her Soul Mate 30% of the mana she gains, so getting Meditation and the Blue buff will give her and her Soul Mate the MP5 gained from it. (Also the chuck of mana gained from using Med will be given to the Soul Mate as well.) HP5 is not a part of this.

With MP5 and Magical Power Aphrodite's sustain in lane is very hard to beat, but be aware she is still very squishy without early defence and her ult, so play carefully till level 5.

Also be careful with placement and usage of Birds, because it is ticking damage it can last hit minions and take away needed gold from your Carry. The birds also travel slower than most spells so make sure that you lead your target well. Combo-ing Kiss and Birds is very good from lane harassment.

Against ults that are timed, such as Ymir and Sobek, try to time your Undying Love so that it will block the damage from the enemy ult. Timing is very important when using Aphrodites ultimate.
