Aphrodite - Middle/Solo Lane Build

Aphrodite is known being support character rather than solo or middle laner, but! Aphrodite is actually really good at it, with her good lane clearing+healing abilities she's just perfect for it, if you build her well and play a little safer you're a real threat! Just make sure to ward your lane and gank other lanes!

Middle lane build:

Why?
Shoes of focus: Because Aphrodite has long cooldowns, you need to spam your third ability as much as you can, so that's why you need it.
Rod of Asclepius: Middle is always Mages, so this gives you some HP which you need, movement speed and good amount of power, since you will probably get ganked alot you'll need to run faster!
Breastplate of Valor: As I mentioned GANKS, usually jungler is physical so you will need some defense and the passive is just perfect for you, now you'll be able spam your abilities even more, you'll be very annoying with your stuns!
Soul Reaver: Works really well with Aphrodite, the passive is made for her! Now you'll do even more damage, they won't know what hit them!
Void stone: By the time you'll get this everyone will probably be very strong, you'll need some defense and passive is really good for you, plus you'll get some magical power.
Rod of Tahuti: Well this one is obvious, best item for mages!

If you're against Anubis make sure to buy beads and save your Ultimate to counter his, if you're against Nu Wa you'll have very hard time, stay safe and ask jungler to gank A LOT.

Solo lane:

Why?

Shoes of focus: Because Aphrodite has long cooldowns, you need to spam your third ability as much as you can, so that's why you need it.
Breastplate of Valor: Solo laner is usually warrior you'll need some defense, and even if it isn't warrior or rather someone magical you'll get ganked so you will need to make sure your cooldowns are fast, so you can heal yourself and spam your abilities.
Soul Reaver: Works really well with Aphrodite, the passive is made for her, you will do high damage.
Rod of Asclepius: This will give you higher sustain abilities, also better movement speed is good for Aphrodite, plus it will give you good amount of power.
Obsidian Shard: More damage! More heal! You'll rock them like crazy!
Rod of Tahuti: Well this one is obvious, best item for mages!


Actives: Blink - if enemy is Odin this one is really needed! Salvation - Don't be greedy help others as well! Purification beads - If enemy is Anubis and etc.

Make sure to have a good team work if you don't want to lose!
If you're doing well in your lane make sure to gank other lanes, use Kiss and heal your teammates who are low on HP, stun enemies and use your second and third ability at same time, protect others from enemy ultimates. Make sure that your jungler ganks your lane a lot if yu're first one to get tower you'll be very good support for other lanes.

Aphrodite works very well with Warriors such as Chaac, Odin, since they will get near the enemy and you'll be able to use your second ability for more damage. But make sure to always stay safe such enemies as Loki or Thanatos will be able to counter you easily, if you happen to encounter them use Kiss to stun them and run, or if you're confident kill them!

Make sure to ward! Wards wins games!

Build 1:
Pros:
High damage, good heal, low cooldowns, can clear lanes easily, provides good team support, good at ganking with her stuns.

Cons:
Spuishy, if falling behind damage is irrelevant, mana hungry, passive is useless, third ability is easy to miss

Build 2:
Pros:
High damage, good heal, low cooldowns, can clear lanes easilly, good support, good at ganking middle lane, if going against warrior can easily counter with stuns and with healing abilities you can stay in your lane for long time.
Cons:
Spuishy, if falling behind damage is irrelevant, mana hungry, passive is useless, third ability is easy to miss

Passive: Loving Embrace - Gaining Aphrodite's favor is a blessing in that 30% of all mana gained by Aphrodite is granted to her soul mate.

1st Ability: Kiss - Aphrodite blows a kiss to an allied god, making them her soul mate and giving them both 4/8/12/16/20% increased movement speed. If it hits an ally, it has no cooldown. If the kiss hits an enemy god, they are stunned for 1s and Aphrodite's soul mate gets jealous, increasing their damage by 4/8/12/16/20% for 8s.

Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana.

Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds.

2nd Ability: Back off! - Agitated by all the attention, Aphrodite commands enemies to get away from her, doing 90/160/230/300/370 (+60% of your magical power) damage around her and knocking them back to 25 feet from her. If Aphrodite has a soulmate, an explosion originates them in addition, dealing the same damage and slowing by 25% for 2s. If an enemy would be hit by both blasts, they will only be affected by the one originated from Aphrodite.

Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 mana.

Cooldown: 12 seconds.

3rd Ability: Love birds - Aphrodite calls forth a flock of beautiful doves that fly forward in the area in front of her. The doves circle around all enemies in the path, damaging enemies by 15/25/35/45/55 (+15% of your magical power) every .5s for 3s. Aphrodite and her soul mate also receive a 10/17/24/31/38 (+15% of your magical power) healing when cast for the same duration.

Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 mana.

Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds.

Ultimate: Undying Love - Aphrodite pledges undying love to herself and her Soul Mate. While this is active, her and her Soul Mate are invulnerable to all damage for .8/1.1/1.4/1.7/2s. All crowd control effects are also removed when activated.

Cost: 100 mana.

Cooldown: 90/85/80/75/70 seconds.
