Introductions

Hello, I call myself Andy. My IGN is currently ItWasUncalledFor which I use for many games, although on smite I use ''Deadx123'' because someone had taken ItWasUncalledFor. I am still new to the game, I'm only level 17. I am a League of Legends player and refer to many of those terms, but I will still use smite terminology to help out. I am not an amazing smite player, I only know how to play a few gods. That is why I am working on guides for Anhur, Sobek, Anubis, and Ra for people who like this game. I honestly wish I could post the picture of items/skills, but I have no idea how to do it and I apologize and ask that you deal with the text instead :(. Again, I am not a professional, and this is my first time writing a guide so I accept any criticism or suggestions you throw at me :P

EDIT: I realized that for the past 3 stupid weeks, this guide has been outdated because what you guys saw wasn't what I saw. THIS is the actual guide, the other one was a **** one that wasn't updated as it is now.

Anhur

As a son of Ra, Anhur, and his sister Bastet, rode in the golden barge their father sailed across the sky each day. They protected the ship at dawn and dusk from the world serpent, Apep, who lurked at the horizon. Courageous, formidable, and above all, intelligent, Anhur defended the vessel with his spear and wits, outsmarting and distracting the serpent until feral Bastet delivered a killing blow. With Apep gone, Ra became Pharaoh, Bastet, the Goddess of Cats and Women, and Anhur donned the mantle of the God of War. This is how he became known as the Slayer of Enemies.

As time went on, another feline Goddess, Menhet, ran away from the Pantheon, spurning Ra. Anhur vowed to bring her back from the distant lands of Nubia to appease his father, but when he finally caught up with Menhet, he was enraptured and fell in love. He tied a rope to her neck and led her home, where he requested Menhet become his wife, a boon Ra happily granted.

For Egyptians, warfare is more than bloody battle, it's a means to break the chains of tyranny. Anhur can be found at the head of any charge, crushing corruption and leading the people to freedom. While his spear is deadly, Anhur is cunning and clever, able to outmaneuver opponents in ways they least expect.

Pros
- His left click is amazing late game
- His escapes are absolutely amazing
- He has a stun and a slow
- He is an amazing backdoor/lane pusher
- He can gank easily by jumping over walls and stunning enemy gods
- If left alone long enough, he'll be fed enough to kill unfed god
- If fed well enough... he can carry with ease
- Given enough lifesteal, he can actually become a tank just by left clicking
- He's a lion

Cons
- He's extremely squishy! Minions can murder him early game!
- A stun combo can kill him quite easily
- He can only focus one god unless he uses his ult
- He can be shut down easily if focused during a team fight
- He's not D:

Skills

Cripple
This passive is what makes a 1v1 left click against Anhur make him win. This combined with lifesteal makes Anhur a great 1v1 against gods like Artemis.

One of the reasons why I like to call Anhur ''Trundle'', this skill slows enemies within the radius, has a nice 'tower' in which you can pin enemies towards, and even boosts your attacks, which in turn boosts your crits. It's an amazing tool for trapping enemies, stopping them, and turning around to slow them down if you're escaping. Always keep in mind that you do extra damage when gods are in it so if you need the extra damage just throw it up, including for jungle creeps like the fire giant or the gold fury.

And this skill is why I like to call Anhur ''Vayne''. It allows you to knock enemy gods back, and if they hit terrain, it stuns them. This can be used as a poking tool, but I don't actually recommend it. Just make sure you NEVER knock enemy gods away from your team that may lead to his escape and leave your team without a kill. Also make sure you don't use it to finish off an enemy god unless you know an autoattack could kill him, because if impale doesn't kill an enemy god, it'll help him escape. Unless you collide him into a wall that is.

Anhur's ganking/escaping/gap closing skill; this skill allows you to jump towards where ever you place it. Remember that you can use it to jump through walls, but I believe you cannot use it to jump into the Fire Giant's pit. It is great for escapes and can be used to jump out of Ymir/Hades' ultimates. I recommend that you NEVER use this skill for extra damage while fighting, meaning don't jump right on the same spot as you could probably squeeze more DPS just by auto attacking than jumping straight in front of you. Although, you could use it to save a teammate from something like Anubis' plague skill.

One of the most powerful ultimate in the game do to it's early game damage output, I love it, but it has it's downs. For one thing, a stun completely shuts it down, and sobek's throwback shuts it down. I really hope that's a bug because if his ult can be shut down from stuns then so should Kali's D:<. On the other hand, using it early game easily eats a squishy god's health to 1/2 - 1/4 hp. It's a great finisher, but it loses it's edge late game. If you get fed to where you have the full build, your left clicks will be much stronger and faster than using your ult, and I do not believe you cannot left click while using this skill. Meaning, early game this ultimate is amazing; late game, this ult is almost useless.

Items

Starting the match
The first things I always start off with is tier 1 Warrior boots, 5 health potions, and the mana ability. The reason I do this is for sustain and to bait the enemies into thinking I am out of mana. Even if they do know you have the skill, after using it once, they will never know when you have it again, and therefore can be used to bait when they think you can't do anything.

Level 1: +10 Physical Power +2% Attack Speed +2% Crit Chance +10% movement speed 710 gold
Level 2: +20 Physical Power +4% Attack Speed +4 Crit Chance +15% movement speed 1335 gold
Level 3: +30 Physical Power +6% Attack Speed +6% Crit Chance +21% movement speed 2150 gold

meditation
Heals 75% of the user's maximum mana; 180 second cooldown (3 minutes) 500 gold

Heals 250 health over 25 seconds 50 gold
NOTE: Using potions do not stack! Do not use another potion until the one you used has already ended it's healing, otherwise you will waste the full 250 regen!

The first recall
There are plenty of reasons for recalling and usually these are the reasons:
A:You are level 5 and you just got a kill thanks to your ult
B:You are almost dead because you poked the enemy god and their minions raped you
C:You pushed to their tower and already have enough to upgrade boots
D:You died before level 3

Since I usually lane solotop (Left) with a jungler ganking often, I usually end up at A since I over level a double lane (choosing left lane tends to make you go against the enemies' right lane)

If you end up at A, you should be able to buy your tier 3 warrior boots at this point.
If you end up at B, you might be able to buy tier 2 boots.
If you end up at C, you might be able to buy tier 2 boots, or possibly tier 3.
If you end up at D, buy HP pots if you can't afford tier 2 boots yet.

The next two items
Now whenever you have finished your tier 3 warrior boots, you should be able to continue with the following items:

Level 1: 5% Lifesteal 5% Attack Speed 100 Health 630 gold
Level 2: 10% Lifesteal 7% Attack Speed 200 Health 1100 gold
Level 3: 15%(+10%)Lifesteal 10%(+10%) Attack Speed 300 Health 2050 gold

I get Soul Eater after my warrior boots because it gives a really nice lifesteal bonus and attack speed bonus which is extremely helpful early and late game, especially when even crits give you more lifesteal, which the warrior boots provides

Level 1: +15 Physical power 840 gold
Level 2: +32 Physical power +10% Critical Chance 2150 gold
Level 3: +50 Physical power +20% Critical Chance +50% Critical Damage 3150 gold

I get the Deathbringer next as it is an amazing item for flat damage and when you crit you do even more damage at tier 3! I consider it the infinity edge from League of Legends as it gives a huge damage bonus and huge crit bonus.

The next two items
Now the next two items are your decision so ask yourself this question:
Would you like CC first (slow)?
Would you like more DPS first (Faster damage)?
Consider these two items I show you as you pick between which you want to get first. Think about it: are you playing against gods with quick escapes like Agni, Bakasura or Cupid? Or are you playing against a more tanky god like Hades or Ymir? Well, whichever you want more, DPS or CC, consider your pick between these two:

Level 1: +10 Physical Power +75 Health
Level 2: +18 Physical Power +200 Health
Level 3: +20 Physical Power +325 Health; Basic Attacks slows enemies

This item is amazing for cc, if you need to catch up to annoying gods, this is the item. It's great for ganks and great for running away. It's definitely a must, but whether you get this or first is up to you.

Level 1: +10 Physical Power +10 Health
Level 2: +20 Physical Power +100 Health +10% Attack Speed
Level 3: +30 Physical Power +150 Health +25% Attack Speed; Basic Attacks have a chance to deal 10% of an enemy god's health in magic damage

This is what I get usually my 4th item rather than the Frostbound only because the DPS you get from this item is absolutely amazing! It boosts all the things you need for your left click: Attack Speed, Physical power, and a nice little extra health shaver

The Finishers
The last item I get is always a mystery for me. I usually am not actually fed to the point where I actually complete it. There's about three choices I usually go for and these help really well, and I guess it just depends on their team:

devourer's gloves
I get these if I want a massive boost in Physical Power and Lifesteal as when you get max stacks, your damage along with the Fire Giant can easily help you crit 700+ just by left clicking, I really like this item the most for my finisher.

I get these if the enemy team has many tanks, especially the ones who actually built tanky. This is great for shredding gods such as Sobek, Ymir, or Odin.

The second armor shredding item I consider. This one has more armor penetration, but it doesn't give me the attack speed boost, so I usually don't actually get this one.

Ok.... so.....

PROS
-My God does the guide look amazing. The colour and icons and everything really.
-The detail is amazing. Really holds your hand when it comes to item builds.
-Grammar and spelling is perfect.

CONS
-I'm questioning the skill order.
-Not enough chapters.

POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS
The information and presentation that you currently have is perfect. The major problem that I have is the information that you don't have. I recommend some more chapters. Also, from my experience, you should max Shifting Sands over Disperse. Hear me out here, your Shifting Sands has a damage amplifier, increasing your damage greatly. Disperse, in my opinion, provides more utility and less damage. If you think about it, +20% damage on your basic attacks in the end will sum up to more damage than Disperse, with a base damage of 210 with relatively low scaling. I just suggest you try maxing Shifting Sands before Disperse and see what results you get.

FINAL VERDICT
Despite my huge rant on your skill order, this guide is very good.
8/10 which is +1,

I smell rework time >:D
