Bluestone is my typical start however if you are doing this in the jungle dagger isn't a bad choice. I also typically get blink and then sunder or beads/aegis depending on the team.

Nike does some pretty crazy damage if you build her right, but also if you snow ball with her. She can easily combo kill someone before they hit the ground from your leap. What you want to do is leap on them and then use Sentinel of Zeus and then Rend. You can also blink in and save your leap if they are known to leap away from you. Before doing Rend I like to sunder then so they take more damage. I typically use the barrier to either push them into tower or to get that last little bit of damage to kill them before they get away.
Some of the interchangeable items are incase you need anti heal but also incase you are taking to much damage and they are focusing you hard. A small amount of defense scales really well on Nike so it could never hurt. As you usually have great kill potential by Arondight or heartseeker.
This build is my most common build I go with her and it has a 90% win rate with me. This also works great if you play very aggressively as the enemy is typically not expecting the high damage nike puts out especially early game. And by midgame if you haven't fallen behind by misplays you can typically "one shot" anyone that isn't a tank.
