HOG 2 as jungle.

Just wondering what you guys think about getting HOG 2 early when you jungle?

I know close to none of the "pro" players go for it (except Iraffer).

But I really like the 30 extra seconds taken off the cooldown. And for me it really helps with clear speed and by that making me able to gank a lot more :p

How important are those 300g for you guys and what would you rather use them on?

I used to do it, don't know why I stopped though :P
I think cuz I only use it for the buff camps, and I rely on my support to hog the midcamps.
I'd rather have the extra 300 gold tbh.

Nope, I've always been going HOG 2 early after the 30 sec change. But now I'm thinking about moving away from it (there must be a reason for all the "pro" players not doing it) :P

But if DM does it I guessing he put a lot of time into testing it. Although he can seem like a **** he does not just blab about stuff with no facts to back it up.

I just played a game where I counter jungled a lot and I figured it's good for when you play on counter jungling a lot :P

He is called Bmbrandon for a reason, but anyways I kinda like to have the 300 gold, because I like to snowball from kills and not from jungle farm. If I ever go back to baste and I have 300 gold that I see no better way of spending I will up hog tho.

Anyways... if the pros aren't getting HoG 2, there's only one reason: it's more efficient to spend the gold elsewhere, or it's not worth the gold early on.

I've seen some pros do it before.

I do it sometimes if I use Loki in conquest. A neat trick with him is to get HoG 2, wait further back in the mid lane, Vanish as you head towards the mid camp and when the mid camp is 1/3-1/4 health, you can HoG and easily escape with the whole 4 seconds of "invisibility" time. If you do it, don't Vanish then wait by the camps because you'll become visible and most likely die :P. Works if I'm jungling or in the mid lane.

HoG 2 is great with a highly mobile god that doesn't have that great of a wave clear. Will make him/her so much more efficient.

But with other gods? Nah, I need movement speed from Boots and potions/mystical might
