So most of us know now that a 10v10 mode is coming this year and it will probably come after smite realease. If the 10v10 map was conquest map with 4 lanes (like in Pbat`s reddit post, can be found here http://www.reddit.com/r/Smite/comments/1wco5g/a_concise_list_of_what_id_like_in_smite_for_2014)
, what would the meta look like? My idea would be an assasin for left/right jungle, warrior for the other. 1 or 2 lanes with support + adc or maybe even support + assasin. 10 people per team would even permit mage supports (other than aphro and change). The other 2 lanes could be like warrior with damage mage and maybe even an assasin in duo.
Now its turn to you guys, feel free to post any ideas about 10v10 and the meta in the comments :)

I like it so long as they see it as arena or something but dont nerf/buff based on the stats from the 10v10 as for the meta i think everything would be possible

Since I need something to destress to, I'll try for this.

Assuming it's a four-lane, three-jungle conquest map, the team comp should be

4 physicals
4 magicals
2 tanks

let's split them to different halves of the map:
Left two lanes:
2 physicals
2 magicals
1 tank
Right two lanes:
2 physicals
2 magicals
1 tank

so, for each type, let's have the standard meta, but combining the mid and the solo, which would make it a double-magical lane.

Outside lane:
1 ranged physical
1 tank
Inside lane:
2 magicals
Jungle:
1 melee physical

mirrored for each half.

Ares would also be a brilliant choice for an outside lane here. There would be a brand-new tier list for it.

I think the meta wouldn't be 4 phys, 4 mage, 4 tank. That leaves 4 physical users, 6 magical, and mages are too bursty to do well against a team of 10, I think you'd want much more sustained damage. I'm thinking 2 pure mages, 1 support mage (ra, change, etc), 2 tanks, 2 bruisers, 2 carries, and an assassin. You've got a 4 man frontline with a healer keeping them alive, 2 mages in the back trying to rot teams, and an assassin (preferably a very safe, but long-term one, not Loki, but someone like thanatos or something who can swap functions as a fighter mid-fight) to pick off a straggler.

As for the meta in lanes, I do not know. But I believe that comp to be the best balanced.

Would tanks even be viable? at any given time u can be ganked by a team ranging from 2-10 once 4 gods are focusing the tank regardless of defense the hurt really starts stacking on, how would a tank stand against 6? 7? 8,9,or 10!? I feel like tanks would have alot of problems...

Hard to really say anything before I know the map layout, but just the fact that it is 10v10 that would make AOE damage very important, a strong front line and global presence.

So my top picks would be:
Ares (that ult)
Ymir (great for protecting the carries and decent AOE presence)
Athena (global presence, great for protection if built tanky, good control with taunt, good nuke if built damage)
Bacchus (great ut and good for protection)
Thor (global presence, good AOE damage and he can be built bruiser)
Apollo (global presence)
Neith (global presence and AOE damage)
Loki/ Thanatos (getting picks)
Ra/ Chang'e (heals and Chang'e ult would be OP)
Zeus (well it is zeus)
Zhong Kui (good sustain and a great ult)
Hades (good ult and control)
I'm going to stop here because 10v10 would just open up so much oO

My least favored choices though, would be:
Artemis, Ne Zha, Bakasura, Mercury, Aphrodite, Arachne, Anubis, Chronos, Fenrir, Vamana, Anhur and Sun Wukong.

But in 10v10 everything could be doable I think (even ara) :p
Going to be interesting to see how it works out!

I have a feeling that the 10 v 10 might be a siege mode based on objective's kinda like how Hero's of the Storm looks like atm and the mention of siege minions somewhere in a past data mining post in reddit also makes me think this!

So if its largely objective based picking gods that are great at split pushing, objective securing/defending and great at aoe zoning/damage will be a must.
